“Dayton's best Hotel”

It was nice and peaceful.

“got my tote bag and camera back”

When I checked out I left behind a tote bag containing a digital camera among other items. I called the hotel two days later and they had the bag with all the contents intact. A friend in Dayton picked it up for me and will be mailing me the items.

“Right for the money”

Hotel staff were very helpful and accomadating. Room was comfortable. Only complaint was the continental breakfast was very limited. I would stay there again but go out for breakfast.

“OK .. if only for a few days”

Beds were a little hard. Room had a musty smell when first entered. Bought some candles and it disappeared. Continental breakfast was probably what they served during the continental army. Small bagles, nothing replenished, bread for toast, no fruit, had to keep asking to replenish coffee and juices. But staff was pleasant. If you need a place to crash for a few days, and your not spending alot of time in the room.. it'll work. Close to hwy and attractions..

“You get your money's worth”

The location is convenient to the freeway, no stores/restaurants around, less traffic since it is close to the railroad, and bedding sheets smell old. Otherwise it is workable for me because it is close to where I needed to go and didn't stay in the room long anyway.

“Good value for price”

Given the cost of other area hotels, if you're looking for a clean place to sleep this is the place for you!

“Friendly staff, not too clean though”

The guy at the front desk was wonderful. The ease of checking in and out was great. Te Internet access was great. The room was dreadful. Dirty is what it was. I didn't sleep because the room was so dirty. But, if you need a place cheap and quick with friendly staff, stay here.

“not impressed”

Lobby not very clean. No one at the counter. Attendant was in the back room. We he did come out front, he wasn't dressed well. Although it was evening the breakfast bar area wasn't very clean. I was leary about coming in the next morning foe the complimentary breakfast. All previous Super 8 Motels were fine. I always anted to stay at these hotels. I could trust that they would be OK. I don't feel that way now. Doesn't the corporate managememnt ever inspect them?

“Walked into the room, turned around and walked out. Terrible dirty place.”

Dirty dingy area of town and hotel matched. Not nice. I just walked in and turned around and walked out. The room was already paid for but I left anyway.

“OMG!!”

My original request was for non-smoking and two double beds. Upon arrival we were told the only non-smoking room was with one king - ok - we'll compromise on that one. When we tried to enter the room, we literally had to push the door open with a strong shoulder. Our stay was two nights and upon return to the room for a dinner break after one night, we found that our room had not been touched. No clean towels and no bed made. The toilet took 6 flushes to clear the bowl. The carpet was nasty, as were the curtains. Even with the door closed to our room, it sounded like we had it wide open. The exterior stairwell was filthy with plaster missing. The trash containers were overflowing. The vending machine was empty and filthy. The neighborhood was marginal. All I can say is RUN, don't walk in the other direction from this one!!!
