“I love it!”
Elegant, clean and hospital, enjoed by family traving with children.
“A Great Hotel During Oktoberfest, or Anytime!”
We picked this hotel mainly because of its proximity to Munich airport. It's just a 30 minute drive "door-to-door". We discovered an added bonus: it's just a 20 minute walk from the hotel to the commuter rail (S-Bahn) that takes you into the Munich city center. No driving or parking headaches. It was perfect for our visit during Oktoberfest! The hotel is located in a very quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood. The hotel staff was very friendly and courteous. They answered all of our questions to our satisfaction, and also provided us with railroad maps and Munich street maps. The food served in the restaurant was good, although a bit limited in selection. A nice breakfast buffet is included in the room charge. Bathroom soap is provided, but not face cloths.

“Beats sleeping at the Airport”
We stayed in this airport during an overnight airport. This hotel has a shuttle booth at the airport, so make sure that you find it and use the shuttle rather than a taxi. It is about 8 euros pp and a tax is about 35 euros. So for the two of the shuttle was a better deal. Also, make sure that you arrange the shuttle to pick you up from the hotel before they close for the evening (8:00 p.m.) or you will be stuck taking a taxi back to the airport.
“Quick business stopover near Munich Airport”
The Achat Munich Airport is a well-maintained, comfortable, quiet and modestly appointed homey spot perfect for an overnight stay when you need to near the Munich Airport and want to economize. The rooms are small, but clean and the beds comfortable. The bathrooms are also small, but relatively newly re-done and very pleasant. The hotel is quiet (the "backyard" is a huge agricultural field) and about a 15 minute ride from the airport. The hotel has a shuttle service to and from the airport, for 8 Euro (C&K) and it's definitely recommended that you arrange for it before your trip. I took a cab and the driver ripped me off by taking me the (VERY) long way around: 30 minutes and 35 Euro. That wasn't the hotel's fault of course. Overall, I was very happy with my two stays at the Achat Munich...the town is pleasant, but don't expect much in the way of 'fine dining.'
“Very Comfortable/Convenient”
Stayed at the hotel to attend the European PGA Tour tournament recent. Since I had my own automobile, the hotel was very convenient to various areas around Munich including the airport, Dachau, downtown, etc. The Expedia price was and outstanding deal considering the conversion rate Euro/dollar.
“Great hotel for a great deal!”
Very clean, helpful staff, in a great location that is easy to access other areas close to Munich. We rented a car from Sixt so it was easy to access hotel, rail station is not really a walk-able distance.. other than that... We loved our stay there, and they did an amazing job accomodating a family with small children!!!
“Nice place to stay at a great price.”
For the price we paid I wasn't expecting such a good experience. The room was very clean and comfortable, light and airy. There was a good restuarant in the hotel for dinner and breakfast, and the prices were very reasonable. The room was quiet and very comfortable. The location was more isolated than I expected - a small village with minimal "town" activity. I don't know how easy it might have been to get transportation into the city, but it was conveniently close to/from the airport. It certainly met all of our needs. Oh, and thaving beer in the vending machine put a smile on my face.
