“Great location”
My mother and I were headed to New York for our first ever shopping trip and we chose the Hilton Manhattan for our lodging. The location of the hotel can't be beat. About 3 blocks from Grand Central Station. The rooms are small but that should be expected when traveling to New York. The first night we checked in we realized our TV didn't work but it wasn't a big deal to us. The following night we called the front desk to report the TV not working and someone from maintenance was sent up right away to try and fix the problem. They couldn't get the TV working so instead we were moved to a bigger room on another floor. The service was great and everyone was so nice. If you need help with anything having to do with New York you can't go wrong with Adam the Concierge at the hotel. Very knowledgeable and provided great service. My mom and I had so much fun we are already talking about a return trip and the Hilton Manhattan with definitely be where we will stay.
“Quality Service in Adversity”
Our four night stay at the Hilton Manhattan East was very good until the last night. It was during the last night that the hotel experienced issues following a power problem in the street. We woke to no lighting (except emergency) and no hot water. It was then that the quality of the hotel and it's staff really shone through. As no elevators were working security staff were on hand to safely guide us up and down the stairwells. Glowsticks were placed everywhere to assist in lighting darkened hallways. Our safety and security were the hotels paramount concern. A senior Hilton manager was available onsite to speak with customers and coordinate hotel business. Complimentary full breakfast was available to all guests. And as a apology for the inconvenience, the hotel waived the room service we had incurred the previous evening, some $40 worth of food and also additionally extended our room occupancy from 12 (midday) to 6pm on the last day without charge. The staff were throughout, courteous and apologetic, despite this problem not being of the hotels making. Whilst the hotel maybe on the more modest side, the staff from doorman, bellman and receptionist, through restaurant staff and cleaners, through to management were 5 star. Highly recommended.
“Very comfortable and convenient”
Very comfortable bed and very quiet room. Staff were helpful and the hotel is in a very convenient location. Would definitely go back there again.
“Hilton Manhatten East - worth a visit”
Lovely hotel, helpfull and friendly staff. Very good value for a short break in New York. 5 minute walk from Grand Central Station. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Plenty of bars and places to eat nearby. Would go back and stay there again. I went on a bed and breakfast basis. The concierge gave us loads of help and booked tickets for us, saving time and money.
“Surprisingly good”
I read a few reviews of the hotel before travelling and was a little anxious about the standard. I needn't have worried. It was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. The staff were great, especially the concierge staff who were outstanding!! Thank you for a great stay!!

“Perfect NYC Hotel”
Great hotel near everything in NYC. Great room and facilities. Very helpful staff. Very affordable for New York. Will stay there again definitely.
“Basic review”
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel in the future.
“Will Definately Consider a Return Trip to This Fine Hotel”
I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and have nothing negative to report about the Tudor Hotel. The location was great. Not too far from the action, but far enough away from the bustle and noise of NYC. The room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. All staff were friendly and helpful and we feel we got great value for the price.
