“Minutes away from Times Squares”
The staff was exceptionally nice and friendly. It made or trip to NYC a memorable one. ;)
“wonderfull hotel to stay in”
the room is very comfortable and the view from the room is amazing shows Manhattan skyline and the location of the hotel is easy access to every where also the room service was excellent and the price of the food menu was affordable i just loved that hotel and definitely i will book it next time
“Great for trips to New York City!”
The Hotel was perfect for our trip to NYC. Only 7 min to midtown on the Ferry right outside the door. It couldn't have been more convenient. The views were beautiful. The restaurant in the hotel was great and very reasonable. We can't wait to stay there again!
“Great Stay!”
It was a great overall experience. Great location for traveling to NYC, with the ferry right outside the door, close to the light-rail and bus stops. Rooms were large, and up to date.

Location is excellent, bus to NYC right outside, ferry point too, although it's pricey... an a great bar round the corner. The staff we encountered were exceptionally polite, helpful and genuine. Nothing was a problem and they cared that the visit was a good experience. We intend to return. Top marks.

We stayed for 4 days with kids. This is a great hotel just near Lincoln tunnel with easy access by bus or ferry to Manhatten. The NJ transit 158 bus takes you right to Times Square for less than $4.00 a trip and is very easy to board from this hotel. The rooms are large with very comfortable bed. The hotel is just across from Manhatten but the location is very quiet with a nice view of Empire State and Chrysler buildings across the river.
“Great spot, great value.”
This is an ideal hotel for taking in the sights of Manhattan, literally. Its right across the Hudson from mid-town Manhattan. As a base for exploring the city, the ferry picks up every 15 or 20 minutes from just outside the Hotel reception. In 10 minutes you are on the island and there is then a courtesy bus into midtown Manhattan laid on by NY Waterways (which we realised at the end of out trip unfortunately...). Last ferry back is about 11pm. After a whole day, and very late night, then we appreciated the calmer surroundings of the hotel and recharging before doing it all again the next day. I had a room with a great view of downtown Manhattan and never got bored of seeing the sun set or rise. We ate in the Italian restaurant within the hotel which was very good. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment. There is a Ruth Chris' steakhouse right across the road where we really had the best steak of our lives, but thats a seperate review.... There's another bar next door but we never made it to that one. For airports, definitely use Newark, its 20/30 mins from the Hotel. We had business in south Jersey too so flew into Newark but out of JFK which was a 90 minute taxi ride (traffic & accidents along the way) so the journey home was a bit more stressful than we wanted. In summary, couldn't fault it. Definitely use it for next time.
“Excellent hotel in a quiet neighborhood”
From the moment we went in... we knew we made the right choice. The hotel was very clean and well kept. The room was in excellent condition. Everything from the towels, the sheets and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. The room itself was ample with plenty of accomodations (sofa, desk, 2 Tvs, etc). The area around the hotel is also very nice, and most importantly it is quiet! No cars, no beeping no people.. simply none of the hassle of staying in the Manhattan side. New york is only a 10 minute bus ride away and the bust stop is less than a block from the hotel.
“Great place; convenient, clean and comfortable”
we stayed at this hotel to avoid the madness of Manhatten. It is so easy to get the water taxi over and literally a few steps across from the hotel. The hotel staff was helpful giving us directions, more coffee when asked, etc. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it.
