“Great value”
Fantastic value for money. Decent breakfast and amazing Gym and pool. We will be back. Remember to take your own shampoo as no products in rooms
“Lovely hotel,been a few times now!”
I always book this hotel when I plan a trip to the metro centre (15 min drive away!) very relaxed atmosphere,great bar serving amazing food,lovely breakfast selection and free use of the gym and swimming pool.bedrooms clean and very comfortable and also have a power shower.drinks are a bit too expensive (£6.25 for a glass of wine!!!) Guinness about £3.75 not sure about lagers etc....loads of parking spaces.cant think of anything else!

Night staff could monitor security cameras better. Have had several stays now at The Village, Newcastle and have not had one good nights sleep! Other guests loud, foul language and knocking on doors, talking on mobiles, turning Televisions on from the early hours until dawn. This spoils the break.

Third time at this hotel. Beinging able to use the pool is a great way to relax at the end of the day.
“Couldn't fault it”
despite staying for one night over a very busy bank holiday weekend during the 'Take That' tour in Sunderland, this did not not impact noticeably on the quality of service and overall satisfaction of our stay. A very slick operation. Well done to all staff and thank you. We will definately be back if visiting that part of the country again.
“Real comfort and extensive facilities on a budget”
Superb value, 5 star comfort, 1 star price. Very comfortable beds. Village hotels are generally located out of town and little to appeal outside the hotel but once inside they spacious, comfortable with huge good gyms and good sports facilities. Food pretty good for a hotel as well.

Great Hotel. Busy but quiet at night. Most of the visitors were going to the very popular gym so the Hotel itself was quiet, clean and the breakfast was great. Only one small issue was the internet speed to download emails was very slow, upload was super fast. Overall a lovely stress free two day stay.
“Excellent stay”
15 of us stayed at the Village Newcastle for a hen night. Good atmosphere for groups, families and couples. A few hen groups but not rowdy as you might imagine in some other budget hotels. Great leisure faciltiies, not overcrowded. Early evening meal in the Victory pub was good but bar is expensive. Breakfast was excellent, good choice, although a little busy and had to wait a while. Rooms clean and good size. A little way out of city centre, £20 cab back from city centre. Starbucks was a nice addition to the pub/restaurant.

Have been to this hotel on a number of occasions, have never been disappointed. Staff are always very friendly and helpful, leisure facilities are great.
