“Excellent Value for Money”

Citadines Lille Centre is an excellent choice. The rooms were very spacious, with modern decor and clean. Also, location and price can not be beaten with only 10 min walk from Eurostar to hotel, which is handily located within the shopping centre and 5-10 min to city centre. Rooms are well equipped for self catering and even have a radio/CD player. Only thing I didn't realise was that the apartments are not serviced on daily basis but reception happily supplied additional towel on request. Would suggest you bring your own soap and dishwashing liquid though. Also, I did ask for non-smoking rooms and mine definitely smelled of smoke. Would happily go back there!

“Highly recommended”

The hotel is a stone's throw from both rail stations and just a short walk from the city centre. The apartment was clean, with a kitchen area. The double bed was very comfortable and is actually two single mattresses which is even better - the sofa bed is fine too. There are plenty of nice lamps in the sitting room which makes it nice and cosy. We were at the back and had a nice view over Lille from the 10th floor. Very quiet too. To save money we shopped at the huge supermarket next door and cooked our own food. My only reservation is that the windows in the bedroom open out quite wide so don't take children to these high floors just in case of an accident. I am probably being overcautious, but better safe than sorry! Apart from this, highly recommended and good value for money.

“good base”

Centrally located between old city and Eurorail station. Smart basic accommodation, almost service flats. Pleasant reception staff but otherwise you're on your own which is relaxing. No hassle.

“Great location”

The Citadine Lille is part of the "Euralille" complex with over 100 shops and an excellent supermarket all under one roof. But it is only a very short walk into the lovely old town centre with all the individual shops and restaurants. The underground parking is secure with a gated area for guests traveling by car. Metro and bus stations are also very close by. I would very much like to back to Lille one day and I would try to get a room at the Citadine again.

“complete bargain! love this hotel would love to go back!!”

we stayed for a few days expecting the worst as its not a 5 star. it was easy to find, right by the station and shopping centre. SUPER safe for anyone staying alone or females as its by the main roads, better than most of the 4/5 star hotels in the area amazing amazing location. room was HUGE, we were expecting it to be awful considering reviews but it was great stayed on the 10th floor, not noisy at all, larger than usual room and the two beds are not couches like we expected but proper beds. hotel people were fantastic and there is 24 hour complimentary drinks cafe latte etc in the lobby! though no one tells you this only a staff member told us :) so you actually get your moneys worth when you arrive and pay the 8 euro city tax! the kitchen, bathroom are also massive considering its only 2/3 star we couldn't believe our luck! only downside was the bathroom and kitchen were slightly dusty and the decor is old-fashioned but for the price we were very happy and there is no point paying the extra 200 hundred or whatever for modern decor! its just furniture!! hotel were friendly, and the drinks snacks etc in the lobby are cheaper than london prices despite the euro being so high :D overall we are def going back infact looking asap for our next trip!! definitely book this place it is honestly great and totally deserves more credit!!

“Would Definately Use Again”

Hotel is opposite train station in central Lille, near to bars and restaurants and large shopping centre and has private car park. Rooms were spotless with TV, stereo and kitchenette that had dishwasher and microwave as well as hob. Service was excellent and reception staff were very friendly and helpful and all spoke English very well. I would not hesitate to return here.

“Excellent City Centre Hotel”

Have just come back from the Lille Citadines Hotel. We found the hotel to be very clean, very comfortable and very quiet - even though it's right next to 2 train stations and in the city centre!! We had an apartment room which was a godsend with 2 kids. We could keep food bills down by having breakfast in and also enjoy hot drinks and cold drinks too thanks to the fridge. There was even a dishwasher too!! The secure parking was very reasonable aswell 10 Euro's a day - in a city centre!! There was only 1 thing I could finf falut with and that was the lack of air conditioning. When we arrived it was 34 degrees and by opening windows and drawing curtains we got the temperature down a bit, but in a modern hotel like this the lack of aircon was surprising. However on a normal day I'm sure it would be fine. There was heating to keep the place warm if it was cold outside though.. Finally, I would be more than happy to recommend this hotel to others. Great location, great price and a great hotel. We shall return!

“Fantastic location”

I can't fault this place at all. A 10 minute walk from the station, and it is part of the EuraLille mall, so everything you need is on your doorstep. The room was clean though the beds were a tad soft for me, and free broadband access is a bonus. The rooms were quite well insulated so it was really warm. Only one thing I can say, coming from England with our myriad of health and safety laws, is that the windows open out quite far, which was a bit of a shock as we were on the 10th floor. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel. P.S. I didn't have breakfast there so I don't know what its like, there were so many good places to eat around us.

“Excellent place to stay for Lille city break”

We stayed at this hotel for a girls city break over the bank holiday weekend and were not disappointed. Ideal location near the Eurostar station and less than a 5 minute walk to the centre with all the sights- it was perfect. Clean and large appartment was ideal for 3 and perfectly clean. Staff were also very accommodating. Perfect if you are looking for somewhere cheap with plenty of room and very near the centre. I will definitely come back here when I return to Lille.
