“A pleasant surprise”
I expected less from this hotel than it delivered. Our room was on the fifth floor overlooking Avenue Carnot, with a view of the Arc de Triomphe. We arrived at 9:00 AM on a Sunday morning, too early to check in. The clerk graciously guarded our luggage while we spent the day exploring Paris. The lobby is nicely decorated as shown on the Hotel web site. The room was a bit small, but cozy. The bath had the usual half shower guard that is not much use for anything. The elevator is small which might be a problem for larger people. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the Champs Elysees, the Air France bus for the airport, and metro and RER Connections. On the downside, wireless internet has to be purchased at 8 Euros for 1 hour or 15 for 3. Breakfast is 13 Euros, better to go down to the local Bisto and get a decent brunch for 10.
“Excellent Paris accommodation”
Excellent location, close to several small supermarkets and independent shops. Lovely patisserie at the end of the street. Well placed for all the major attractions. Metro station and air France bus to airports from the end of the street. Superb service from the reception staff. Front room on 5th floor of hotel a little small by UK standards but fantastic view of the arc de triomphe. Clean and comfortable bed. Small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities in room. A pity room rates do not include breakfast. Would definitely return to Paris and would recommend this hotel to friends.
