Staff were really helpful and friendly, room was lovely, pool was amazing and breakfast was delicious (just basic - choice of eggs/pancakes/cereal and bread, fruit platter, juice and coffee). The location is great, near good restaurants and shops. Only a ten minute walk to the riverfront. If you don't like stairs, you might want to ask for a room on the ground floor. We were on the third and there were a lot of steep stairs to get to our room. We would stay here again. For the price we were really impressed.
This is a small hotel close to the riverfront, royal palace and national museum. It's easy to find food, too, albeit at tourist prices. And there several bus companies in this area which can take you to Siem Reap or other cities. The hotel staff were courteous and efficient. There are 2 PCs in the lobby which you can use. On the first night, our room air cond did not work properly. After we called the reception, the technician came up almost immediately. As he couldn't fix the problem, we moved to another room opposite. Traffic was not heavy outside this hotel, so we didn't have trouble with noise. The pubs nearby came alive at night, but that didn't bother us as we were enjoying the cable TV in the room. Breakfast was adequate, not great. I didn't know that you could order eggs from the kitchen until we observed some guests doing it.
I recently spent several nights at the One up. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and kind. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Room was clean and comfortable. Was lovely to wake up and be able to make a coffee or tea. Bathroom was small but adequate and water was hot. Just a short walk to restaurants, but always a tuk-tuk at the ready if necessary. Staff were always very obliging with a ready smile. Loved my stay...thank you Arun for making it so enjoyable! Would definitely stay here again - well worth the money.
On arrival the hotel manager was at reception to meet and welcome me to the hotel. Ate in the hotel first night and the food and staff were excellent. Each day the manager made an effort to speak to all guests and was extremely helpful in recommending things to do.
Small hotel but great place to stay - will always stay there when in Cambodia.
