The Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen is a great property. The rooms were big and clean. We even had a jacuzzi in our room. The pools were great and the activities were fun. The staff were all friendly and willing to help. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from, and the food was good.

Getting a fountain view room was well worth it. Large comfortable room with a great view of the fountain shows. Very well maintained property, friendly staff. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Way overpriced. Way over hyped. Premium room with VIP access cost us over $850 during the slow season. Are you kidding me? Absolutely, positively, beyond the shadow of a doubt: NOT WORTH IT. Granularity: The facility is new and clean, but not an $850 a night facility even in Nice, France let alone ...
