“Would stay again”
Close to the road, but was quiet. I booked two rooms for our stay. Both rooms and linens were clean and inviting.
“Easy convenient location, clean room”
Staff was very friendly, hotel is right at the bottom of Main St in Freeport off the highway so a good spot to start your day of shopping (and easy.) The room was comfortable and clean, the only thing I would have liked was a few more feet of space in the width of the room. Other than that, it really was great for the price. Clean, neat, convenient. What else do you need?
“Nice, clean place to stay”
We spent one night at this lodge and were pleasantly surprised by the fresh, clean rooms. It was bright and airy and the continental breakfast was satisfactory, all you'd need for a breakfast on the go. I'd stay there again.
“Staff extremely helpful - would go back”
Centrally located - easy to find
“Nice place to spend a night or two!”
This hotel was actually quite a nice surprise! Myself and two friends came for two nights to attend a concert in Portland and shop in Freeport. This hotel was affordable (not eating too much from the shopping budget!)and turned out to be a great location --it's a second drive to the intersection needed to get on the highway to Portland and a few minutes to the major shops in Freeport! It's clean, staff were friendly and helpful, they offer a continental breakfast each morning, and all rooms are accessed from outside so it's easy to get your purchases/bags in without having to trample through a hotel lobby or manuever hallways, etc. Overall a really nice place to stay. Beds were comfortable too!!!
“Great Value”
The Good:Fantastic location against shopping strip, best rates by far in the area, brand new rooms and contents. The wireless worked fast and was Skype and Facebook enabled. The Bad: no garbage recycling. With the shops in the area I generated a huge amount of plastic bags and paper stuffing I'd have loved to recycle. The rooms are just a tad cramped. The Ugly: Staff seemed shy and pensive but they were helpful if approached. TV in my particular room had static on all channels.
“courteous staff”
We chose this hotel because it was pet-friendly. It was fine for a 2 star hotel, we had no complaints. Nothing fancy, and just what we were looking for prior to our 12 day vacation camping in a tent!
“Low cost but great service”
This motel is close to Freeport and Portland. Staff were friendly and upbeat. This is the second time I have stayed there and had a good experience.
“Firendly, well maintained hotel”
The Econo Lodge met all my travel needs- friendly staff, clean and well maintained. I will stay here again.
“Freeport Maine”
Excellent hotel for the price - very clean and friendly staff
