“Overall the best hotel I've ever stayed in”
I accept that no hotel will ever be perfect, and I've stayed in a few, however Andels was the best hotel overall that I've stayed in. The room was big enough, had all of the facilities I required, and was pleasantly decorated, clean and in good condition. In addition the beds are the most comfotable of any hotel bed I've ever slept in. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the restaurant food at the buffet breakfast was varied and of good quality, the food downstairs in the main hotel restaurant good also if a little pricey, to be expected at a 4 star hotel however. I honestly can't think of anything bad (that's of great importance anyway) to say.
“Great hotel at a decent price”
This was a nice place to stay at an excellent price. The rooms were roomy for Europe and the king Size bed is actually a king and not two twins pushed together. The hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. The hotel has a nice breakfast buffet with plenty of seating. Parking garage is a nice plus too.
“Wonderful Hotel”
Great & clean place, cordial staff, modern look and feel and an awesome breakfast buffet, which is included in the price of the hotel. Close to the Andel metro station with only a few minutes ride to the main tourist attractions. Next time I'm in Prague, Andel's is my only choice!
“Love it!”
A clean, modern and very new hotel. We stayed in the newer-apartment part of the hotel and were surprised it isnt a 5 star as the quality was so high. The breakfast was great, especially as its included in the price - vast choice. Easy access to city centre by foot but took about half an hour. Quicker option - metro or tram.
“Great value in Prague”
Very nice hotel located a little outside of the city center. Very modern. Easy walk to Metro. Very nice staff. Excellent value
“2nd time round and just as good”
Lovely clean, modern hotel. One downfall is that rooms up to the 4th floor do not have tea making facilities. 5th floor - club level has a lounge where you can have as many cuppas as you like per day - no charge, but unless you pay the extra to upgrade the 5th floor is not accessable. I wanted a room with a bath as a foot operation last year has left my foot aching a lot. Our room only had a shower but it was no bother at all to change after the first night. Staff were always extremely helpful and the breakfasts have everything you could ever want and as much as you like. Would recommend this hotel to everyone
“A modern hotel”
Andel's Hotel Prague is really a very good hotel. Modern, confortable, and situated near metro to go everywhere in Prague
“Very nice, modern hotel”
Rooms are slightly small but appointed extremely well. Wide variety of international channels. Breakfast buffet includes hot and cold food items. The heated floor tiles in bathroom are a great feature!
“Great Modern Hotel”
Andels is a great modern looking hotel about twenty minutes walk from Charles Bridge - situated to the West of the river in Praha 5. If you are not a fan of walking the metro is just round the corner - with plenty of trams nearby too. I stayed there for four nights in Dec 2004 and found the staff to be very efficient and helpful, the food great and the rooms very clean and well presented. The breakfast is buffet style offering almost everything you can think of and is served in spacious contemporary looking surroundings offering a great start to the day. If you prefer modern looking hotels to the old classic four stars then give Andels serious consideration. Looks the part with service and character to match.
“great hotel, great location.”
lovely modern hotel in fab location, really close to shops, trams and great italian restaurant. only critisism is that there are no tea and coffee making facilities in standard rooms so take your own. also bar and restaurant very expensive, but aren't they always!! would def stay there again .

Smichov, Prague, Czech Republic: Tourists come to this outlying westerly suburb to visit the Mozart Museum in the Villa Bertramka, where Mozart stayed as a guest of the Czech composer Dusek in 1787. Not long afterwards, Smichovs vineyards and hopfields were replaced by factory chimneys. Today, many of these old industrial buildings have been converted into bars, shops and hotels for a fresh influx of residential settlers.
