“Very nice hotel at a bargain price”
The anchor beach inn was a very nice hotel at a bargain price. Our room had a nice view of the water and it was very clean and stylish. The hotel was convenient to anything you need in Crescent City too. Lastly the hot breakfast was nice.
“Good place to stay? Yes!”
The room was large, clean, comfortable. And the staff was helpful in finding a restaurant. All for a very good price. If all that isn't enough, we could see the sand and waves from our window.
“The best in the area!”
Very nice place and on the beach were had a great stay. Would go back to the same place time and time again.
“Nice place on the beach”
We stayed in roon 210 with a great ocean view. It's a smoking room with one double bed. We sprayed with fabreze and the smoke smell went away...we wanted the view. Everything was clean. There is a blow dryer, radio alarm clock, iron and board in the rooms. Coffee maker with coffee, cream and sugar. We brought extre coffee because theirs is a little weak for us. Breakfast is juice, milk, coffee, cereal, doughnuts, muffins, fruit, waffles. There were dozens of people flying kites right outside our window. It was beautiful. The beach is just behind the hotel. I really had a good time. We stayed 2 nights. Next year we'll book the 4th of July, they have a big town party and fireworks over the ocean.
“Clean, comfortable room”
Everything about the Anchor Beach Inn was clean...the room, the office, the breakfast area, and the exterior. Many of the other motels in Crescent City looked run-down and seedy. There was none of that here.I was traveling alone(I am a woman) and I felt safe and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful--with everything from check-in to visitor information (local attractions, etc.) The breakfast was great. Love those waffles!
“Very happy”
Hotel was very clean, and very quiet. Nice soft beds, nice bedding. Spacious rooms. Rooms do a good job of shutting out highway noise and muffling door slammers. Good breakfast. One of the best sleeps of our trip.
“Good Value”
Great Value for the money
“Motel good location. Too small a space for breakfast. Nice hot tub”
Enjoyed the hot tub but it was only opened limited hours 5pm-10pm. Good breakfast, but only one waffle iron which was monopolized by one family so I gave up, and had cold cereal. Nice beds and the sound of the sealions at the pier was a pleasant way to wake up.
“Great Weekend Getaway”
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We were right next to the beach. Had a great ocean view from our room. The hotel clerk recommended The Beachcomber restaurant for surf and turf and it was fabulous!!! The room was quiet, dark and comfortable. We will stay here again next time we visit and hopefully stay longer.
“Good clean hotel with stunning ocean views”
Spent a night at this hotel on the way from Oregon to the Bay Area. The hotel is conveniently located right off 101 fwy, by the beach. Our room had a beautiful ocean view and was very clean. It had a refridgerator and a microwave, which could be handy if you need to stay longer. There are a lot of places to eat nearby. Front desk staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast is nice but there should be more variety in the food that's offered.
