“low budget”
Dont get me wrong, the staff at the hotel were lovely and the hotel was very clean, but it was a bit basic. We got to the hotel at midnight and as we entered the room we were suprised to see that the beds were not made. Their was a sheet and towl at the end of the bed and thats all (thats all you got every other day). We went half board and with the exception of desert the food was nasty some nights. Far too much salt and sometimes, stale bread roles. There is air con, but you need to pay for it, and there are buses etc which are well worth the money and are quite cheap, but as a non driver, it was an unconfortable walk to the beach as there are no pavements, so you walk along side the road. As a driver this would probably be a good hotel if a bit basic. The Kitchenetes you get are a god send though. Best bits, travell to Rhodos and lindos, there are great and you can get a bus there! Ask at the hotel for directions.

Area:
Afandou Town, Afandou, Greece: Home to a beautiful 18-hole golf course overlooking the sea, Afandou lies 18 kilometres from Rhodes Town. Set two kilometres back from the coast, the village itself is packed with tavernas, bars and shops, offering a taste of everyday Greek life, plus mid-range hotels and self-catering apartments. A miniature train shuttles tourists from the village to the relatively unexploited four-kilometre-long, broad strip of sand beach.
