“Very good hotel.”
The Hotel was very good. It had very good location easy to get around Branson.
“Old but comfortable”
The hotel was conveniently located close to the entrance to Rocky Mtn Natl Park in Estes Park. The doors on the hotel rooms stuck and were hard to open and close. Maybe taking a couple of layers of paint off would help. The shower got very hot when plumbing in another room was used and the drain was slow. The hot tub could have been warmer than what it was set at and the pool was not heated except by the sun. Showing some wear, but was comfortable and clean, and the staff was very friendly.
“It was okay.”
The bed was comfortable and it was quiet; I sleep well. The room had a bit of an old or musty smell, but I opened the windows, bought a candle, and that took care of the smell. I would probably stay here again if there was nothing else available, which is why I stayed there. The other hotels I wanted to stay at were booked or really expensive for that weekend.
“Old fashioned motel”
It had a noisy a/c window unit and is layed out in the old tradition & shows its age. Clean enough & in a good location is the best we can say about the place.
“Not Impressed”
The main complaint we had was that they didn't use fitted sheets with elastic corners for the lower bed sheet and the first night there was not even a mattress pad on the bed. The flat sheet they used for the bottom sheet wasn't large enough to keep the sheet tucked under the mattress so if you turned over, the sheet shifted and you were sleeping directly on the unprotected mattress. The hotel had a hot tub and an outdoor pool and neither was ready for the public to use when we were there on Memorial Day weekend. Even though they had these items, we couldn't use them during our stay there. We had reserved a nonsmoking room but since they had converted from a smoking hotel to a nonsmoking hotel, we were given a room that used to be a smoking room. There was the distinct odor of old smoke in the room.
“It was a mistake to go there”
The hotel is very rundown and there was minimum furniture in the room.
“never again!!!!”
start at the door to the room peephole was broken out letting cold air in, coffee maker did not work, no cups, bath sink stopper came apart, AND THE NUMBER ONE ISSUE THE LIGHT SWITCH FOR THE BATH ROOM IS IN THE TUB so you can shower and turn the light on & off at the sametime!
“Not impressed, would never stay there again”
I had a room reserved with two beds and I get there and they put me in a room with one bed and it was going to cost extra for another bed... we had three travellers. The room had a funny smell that lingered on our clothes even after we left. Not only did the room smell funny, but I didn't get any sleep with the thin blanket, the uncomfortable bed and the pillow that I might as well have done without. Would not send anyone to this hotel and definitely will not be going back. Spend the extra couple of bucks for a good night sleep!
“Should be called Low Budget Host Hotel”
The first impression upon entering the room was the musty smell. The beds were made with stained bedspreads, the walls were dirty. There was no remote for the tv and no clock in the room. It was in need of some major renovation. We had a reservation for 3 nights, only stayed one. Couldn't wait to leave! Would never go back!
