“Very good hotel”
The Hotel was comfortable and the staff very helpful. It is in ideal position for the beach and dining.

the staff were very accomodating. all rooms do not have balconies, but they did move us to a room wuth a balcony when we told them the web site said balconies. Cute little village in the ruins you dont even know is there unless you walk around. great location across from the beach and walking distance to the train but the trip to Rome took over an hour but was less than 10 euro including all day metro train bus ticket. Our room was very big and comfortable, breakfast was good too.jen
“No Problems”
This hotel was perfectly adequate. Rooms are perhaps a little small. Breakfast was very good with fantastic views over the bay.
“No parking!!”
Nice hotel, but parking is impossible in the surrounding neighborhood and the hotel has none. As a result, we had to lug our bags for two blocks with no help.
“Beware - This hotel DOES NOT have a private beach”
We arrived at the Astura Palace Hotel expecting a private beach - as was clearly advertised on Expedia, however on arrival we were told that we did not have access and had to pay 25 Euro per day to visit the beach. The hotel has no car parking and be careful not to go when they have a car stereo system festival right outside the front of the hotel that blasts extremely loud dance music out of open cars from 5pm until midnight(we had to experience this and the hotel staff pleaded ignorance at what seemed to everyone else to be a regular occurence). The hotel reception staff are pretty incompotent and even failed to produce a plaster from a first aid kit when required and all the chemists were closed on a sunday.The hotel itself is clean and the breakfast satisfactory, good location - just don't expect free access to the beach!
