“Great little hotel”
Hotel was lovely, staff very helpful. The only negative I could say was the deluxe room a little small, but you don't spend that much time in your room. The breakfast room was always very busy in the morning and you would have to wait about 10 minutes to sit down. But overall the hotel was excellent value and exceptionally clean. Ask the staff for any help, taxi restaurants, very friendly.
“A great way to enjoy a birthday!”
The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast provided a good range of choices. Staff were very helpful and eager to make us feel at home.
“Great place for a four night break.”
Lovely hotel great location. Staff very helpful and service was quick and efficient. Hotel rooms are comfortable and a good size, mini bar is well stocked but a bit expensive. Breakfast is of a excellent quality with good choices to suit all.
“Well situated hotel near to the Colosseum.”
A clean confortable hotel which is situated very near to the Colosseum. There was a good breakfast buffet with an extensive choice and variety of food. The staff were very helpful and attentive without being 'in your face'. There a a number of restaurants within walking distance, most of which seemed to be reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends wishing to visit Rome. We look forward to returning to this hotel.
“Great base for exploring Rome”
The hotel was very comfortable, the staff were always helpful and pleasant. The location of the hotel is excellent for getting around Rome and seeing all the sites. There is a good range of restaurants very near to the hotel ranging from inexpensive with good simple food to good quality although pricey, there are also a few touristy restaurants that over charge and don't deliver on quality so you have to do some hunting around for what suits you best. The hotel has a bar and will do room service but no restaurant except for breakfast.
“Great place”
Stayed there 5 years ago, and if anything it is even better now! Very well maintained and the staff were delightful. Would highly recommend.
“Spoilt in Rome”
The hotel was. as described, in a quiet street yet only a few minutes walk from the Colosseum. Within easy reach of all other major attractions. All the staff were friendly and 'smiling'. Breakfast choice was excellent. Lovely roof terrace area to eat breakfast and to relax on later in the day. We had booked a standard double room but had room 208 which was described as a 'Junior Suite' - so no complaints there !! Several restaurants nearby two of which were Clementini (opposite St Clement's Church) and Hostaria Isidoro a little further along the same road where we had the best lasagne we have ever tasted and the dessert called Tryptich of the House ( 3 delicious cakes !!) was excellent. This was our first visit to Rome and we loved every minute. This hotel is wonderful.
“Wonderful hotel”
This is a lovely hotel, although very quiet and few restaurants close by. The only gripe was the hotel bar prices were high - but they are in Rome! PLEASE NOTE - METRO PICK-POCKETS !!! a brilliant way of getting around but watch your bags and wallets - we got caught out with a wallet stolen whilst on a very busy tram on our first day.
“Go for it!”
The hotel is superbly situated for many of Rome's most famous sites, and has a number of good cafés and restaurants in the adjoining streets. The staff in the hotel, especially in reception, are extremely professional, helpful and friendly, while our room on the second floor was clean, well-appointed and, most importantly of all, quiet! The highlight of our stay has to be the breakfast. Not only was the selection large and delicious, but it more than made up for the largely plain and disappointing pizza and pasta served at most of Rome's restaurants. And, while you're there, spend some time looking at the Santi Quattro Coronati, which you can see from the charming fourth-floor terrace. All in all, a great hotel!
“coliseum best”
Impressive hotel with roof terrace close to the Coliseum. Breakfast room but no restaurant, but the fun is eating out, there are lots of local eating places nearby to cater for all tastes and budgets.
