“Perfect for our needs.”
The hotel was everything we want. Large rooms, kitchen and refrig, close to Vatican. Overal loved it and would not hestitate to recommend it or stay there again. Pauk
“Excelent location”
Excelent location (at 10 minutes walk from Saint Peter's Piazza) and attention of hotel personnel. Cleanliness impeccable. Surrounding neighborhood is beautiful with very good restaurants close enough to the hotel to get there walking. We had trouble with the TV set, which did not work properly. No restaurant available in the hotel but each room has a small kitchen with fridge. I would go back whenever back in Rome and gladly recommed it to others.
“Vatican Suites”
I stayed at the Vatican Suite location for 4 days. My room was extremly clean and suited us very well. I was traveling with my husband and mother in law. I love the way the single bed was separated from the master bed as it did give my husband and I some privacy. The room also came with a kitchen which had plates, a pot and pan and cups. We found it to be very convenient since there is not a grocery store near. We managed to find a store and brought the food back to the hotel and were able to cook small snacks. I do recommend any travelers that stay there to be prepared to walk and bring comfty shoes. The hotel staff was very kind and provided us with a map and were helpful when we did have questions. The vatican is a 10-15 minute away however be prepared to walk up stairs and up hills. The terrace is very relaxing and provides some quietness. Note to travelers the taxi's charge parking tax due to vatican laws. Overall, the Vatican Suites is very clean and we were not inconvenienced with anything. We were very satisfied.
“Beautiful Apartment-Style Room”
The staff at the hotel was great and the hotel itself was good too. The location was awesome, my main reason for staying there was going to the Vatican. It was very close to the hotel less than 10 minutes walking distance. There was only one problem and that was the stairs that you had to climb up at the end of a very long day. But seeing the hotel in sight made you forget about all those steps. It was a smaller hotel so the staff was very nice, they even had a laundry room which was pretty cool especially if you are a recent college grad on a budget. There are also a few restaurants and shops on the way to the VAtican that are relatively inexpensive. There was a small store where I stocked up on soda, water and snacks at a very cheap price. I was able to put it all in my fridge that was in my room. The only bad thing about the hotel was the paper thin walls, you could hear EVERYTHING going on in the next room. But other than that it was very clean and well kept...So yeah I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
“Good Bet”
A good choice--quiet street, near the Vatican, an easy bus ride to the center (46, 64 buses)and others to Piazza Argentina or Piazza Venezia. Make sure to ask for clear directions about arriving. Convenient kitchenette--nice view of St. Peter's from bus stop.
“Away from the madness.”
Perfect for our needs. Clean. Very quiet residential neighborhood. Just up the hill from decent dining and great Gelato. A bit of a hike to the Metro but there are bus stops close by if you want to try and figure those out. We usually walked it in 15min. Very nice rooftop terrace for winding down. Only heard the neighbors one night and it was pretty loud so I'm guessing the walls are thin. Most people there are respectful though. Friendly, helpful staff. The desk is not always manned so if you're catching an early cab you may be on your own with the automated taxi service. I marked the comfort down a bit because I got the twin bed in the room without the A/C unit. Even with the door open between rooms I got pretty hot while they got cold in the other room. And they were able to use up all the hot water one morning. The hot water by the way, gets hot enough to cook your skin off. Be careful.
“What a hidden gem!”
Absolutely stunning - great views, huge terrace garden and spacious well-appointed apartment Fantastic brilliant - and within spitting distance of the Vatican (not that you should do that!!!!)
“would go back to vatican suites if we visit rome again.”
walking disance to vatican and everyone at vatican sutes were nice and helpful. having a little kitchen was nice, but could use newer pots and pans.
“Great place to stay”
Great place to stay very close to center of the city
“Natalie”
Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to accomodate an extra person we had travelling with us. Also were very helpful with knowledge of surrounding area and nightspots to visit, and even fixed my sandal too! The roof terrace was lovely- can see the Basilica while sipping tea in the morning.
