“Great Family Hotel”
The complimentary breakfast was great- there was something for all and more than just cereal and muffins. I loved having utensils in the room to cook if we wanted too. The hotel is in a great location of San Diego, you are near many restaurants and shops in Northern San Diego.
“Good place”
Overall, it was a nice place to stay at. We had a wedding reception to attend in that area. I liked the separated living space from the bedroom. And the kitchen was nice to have, even though we didn't use it. Staff was friendly.
“Will stay there next time.”
Reasonable rate, easy freeway access and a lots of good restaurants around there to eat.
“Is there a handyman or housecleaner”
Even though the hotel was near a lot of place to shop and eat. I had a bag of ice melting in the refrigerator, the sliding door were hard to close and it didn't look like the place had been vacuum. For what I paid it wasn't the best hotel I've ever stayed at.
“nice, clean, but a little noisy”
lots of space and clean, however the location was noisy as well as the room above.
“Nice hotel except for thin floors/ceilings”
This Residence Inn is in a great location; near lots of stores and restaurants. The breakfast buffet offers a large variety of hot and cold foods. There were two problems with our room: 1) we heard every foot step and floor creak from the people staying in the room above us and 2) our bed was extremely lumpy. We did not get a lot of rest.
“Rock hard bed and noisy upstairs neighbors”
Location, location isn't everything. The Inn was located in a great spot(close to shopping,freeways and restaurants)but that couldn't overcome the two problems I had with this Residence Inn. The queen bed was as hard as a rock, my wife ended up putting the couch cushions on the bed in order to sleep. And the ceiling squeeked as the guest above us walked across the floor. That guest was a night owl and kept us up most of the night.
“Not a great stay!”
Bathroom had who knows what kind of hair round the toilet. The floor looks like it had not been swept. The door handles on the fridge where dirty. You could here everyone outside and upstairs. The front desk personal is not friendly unless you are a "preferred" customer. So I had to go to the store and get cleaning supplies to clean the room. I cleaned our room daily and got clean towels and extra trash bags every morning from the cleaning lady. And threw our own trash every morning.
