“"A San Francisco Oasis"”

A very nice hotel to stay in. We picked it because of it's location and were not disappointed. The decor is outdated, but it's very clean and quiet for a good night's rest. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

“Simple decor but very clean and comfortable”

This was just an overnight stay to visit a friend who lives 2 blocks away. The Hotel has all the basic necessities, was very clean, looked recently decorated. The neighbohood was quiet for being so close to City Hall, the Opera House, etc. The only thing lacking that did not inconvenience we was a small refrigerator, which those staying might want.

“It's a good one”

The hotel has very good location. Conditions are also good.

“Functional, and perfectly adequate”

Stayed at the Oasis (slightly deluded moniker) and was happy with the room etc. There is ample parking and its easy to get to by public transport as well due to its proxiity to Van Ness. The neighborhood is non-descript but egaliterean enough to sport some top end car showrooms. There is little to offer in terms of nightlife but that doesn't matter because Tommy's Joynt is just up a few blocks so for drinks and vittles your sorted. We stayed simply because it was the best looking affordable hotel we could find that would accomodate a vehicle.

“For the budget minded”

Very small room but the bed was very comfy and the room was very clean. The location was great and fairly quiet.

“Best Bargin in San Francisco”

It's not the most attractive place to stay but it has it's charm. Rooms always feel clean and are comfortable. It's reasonable in price and a safe and convenient location. Unless we are going for a "special" weekend this place does just fine and the parking is Free (first come, first served). Safe, clean, well lighted place to park your tired feet after a great night at Club Mighty.

“cheap but serves its purpose”

My friends and I came to the oasis hotel for a one night show in SF. The hotel is definitly old, and has seen many people through it. It was comfortable however, and great for the location we were trying to get to.

“Clean place to spend the night”

We found this hotel because it was close to the Fillmore, where we were going to view a concert. The close location and the free onsight parking made this hotel the best place to be for a night.

...and I will go back again. Very good rate for the room you get. Hotel is clean, location is ok (lots of buses in the area) and the staff is really nice.

“Clean, comfortable hotel, and a great value!”

I was pleasantly suprised that this hotel was rather elegant for the price. It was obvious that the room had not been completley remodeled, but it was very nice. Very clean and all the basic ammenities. In walking distance of many attractions, and in San Francisco, it's always better to walk so you can really see the city! Would definetley recommend to others, especially if you don't have lots of money but want a nice, comfortable hotel. Also, secure free parking helps to save on trying to park in the city while still knowing your car is safe. Staff was very friendly but not extremley helpfull.
