“Would stay again”
We stayed just for one night and only checked in at 10pm, but it was a wonderful hotel. Very nice staff and the breakfast was good as well. The town of Chambery itself is amazing and this was the best place to stay while visiting.

“Friendly and well located”
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. due to a mix up in the booking instructions from Expedia, they were not expecting us to arrive with 2 children, but they gave us a really nice duplex room which was perfect for us.

We found the Inter Hotel Des Princes to be very clean and comfortable an excellant location adjacent to Shops , Restaurants and places of interest . The hotel staff were very proffesional and friendly and provided excellant levels of service . We would recommened this hotel to other travellers .
“Located in the heart of the historic centre”
We have stayed in this hotel twice, and found it excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the room attractively fitted out. Bathroom quite adequate. I particularly recommend its location adjacent to the pedestrian historic core of the city. Great for exploring the city and finding restaurants. The entrance, reception area and dining room are fairly dark and not spacious.
“Directions”
Difficult to find and get to. Ensure you get precise details. Need to get to hotel before parking car as they provide a ticket for public car park near hotel.
“Good with reservations”
Having stayed at this hotel before I knew what to expect. However, booking with Expedia a kingsize bed was requested. The first room we were shown had a very small double bed so we were moved to another, much more pleasant room with a double (not kingsize) bed. There are some superior rooms at the hotel but we were not offered one and do not know if there is a price difference. The optional breakfast buffet was not such good value as some hotels but quite adequate. I would recommend this hotel to people wanting to stay in the centre of the old town of Chambery and it suited our needs on this occasion.
“Fine hotel. Good base from which to see the area.”
The welcome and interaction with (very helpful) staff was very good (anglophone, and indulgent of infrequent French-speakers). The hotel itself is in a heritage-protected area, and modernisation is limited. The attraction of Chambery and the local region lies outside your hotel room, so this isn't much of an issue. There was no safe in the room, but a deposit box was available. Our room had a wee bit of an odour, which cleared with opened windows. The bathroom was a bit tired, but - other than a marked towel - clean and serviceable. Breakfast was fine, but nothing to shout about. It's a good base from which to see the area, but not a destination hotel, and I'd very happily recommend it on that basis.
