We loved our stay at the chateau. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. While they do not offer room service, I was able to get coffee each morning from the front desk. Our dinner in the restaurant was delicious. We were within an hours drive of spectacular scenery and loved returning to the chateau each night. We didn’t find restaurants in the town, but we had lunch in lovely towns during the day and had picnic dinners on the grounds of the chateau in the evening.

Nice place, beautiful buildings! Good restaurant, great food and wine, and very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, our room was very small and the bed was not comfortable… so not full marks!

Lovely hotel in pretty setting. Comfortable room. Unfortunately when we arrived we were told there was no availability for a table for dinner that evening and they had tried to call me (unsuccessfully probably as I have a US phone number) but “Rob” booked us into a great casual bistro a few minutes walk away. We were offered a complimentary wine tasting/tour of the wine cellars at 6pm. We arrived for the tour but there was a private party who were booked - the hotel apologized and offered the next tour at 7pm but we declined as we were booked for dinner at 7pm. A lovely gesture was 2 glasses of wine each on the terrace from the hotel. Very nice!

The property has a lot of potential, considering it's history. It's just way under staffed, and the room cleaning was terrible, our beds were not made. I would recommend thinking twice booking, even though the property itself was nice. Was there for a wedding.

Stopped for 1night on our way to the Alps. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food was good, I think we were lucky to squeeze in as we hadn’t booked ahead. The musicians at dinner were great.

My overall experience staying here was not great, when I arrived I was given a room in the outbuilding which was having renovations done to it, there was plastic along the hallway protecting the carpet from the building work, the radiators were off the wall with building debris on the floor, the hallway was very cold, when I entered the room it was quite tired, there was toilet paper down a dirty toilet with urine stains around the top of the toilet rim! There was mud in the wardrobe that I easily wiped away. I asked at reception if I could change rooms as I explained that I was recovering from pneumonia and the strong smell of paint would have not been good for me, she offered me another room right at the side of this one in the same building which again I explained I was recovering from pneumonia, I asked if it was possible to have a room in the actual chateau, which she then gave me. Such a shame to experience this as I had my lunch at the chateau and had an amazing experience. I will go back to eat in the restaurant it was beautiful.

Mooi chateau met veel historische kenmerken. Ouderwetse kamer met apart toilet. In de badkamer rook je echter wel wat de kok aan het koken was. Mooi zwembad en heerlijk ontbijt. Uitzicht, tuin en uitstraling van het chateau dik 5 sterren! Makkelijk parkeren bij het chateau.

Underbart trevligt äldre hotell med stor charmkapacitet. Allt var jättebra och det enda man kan anmärka på var ambitionen att göra allt ännu bättre. Kolla igenom personal, lokalerna och stresstesta allt av någon utifrån så kan ni klättra högt och få extremt bättre ekonomi i etablissemanget 💪❤️
