“Lovely location, hotel is great but the bed is lumpy!!!”
15 mins from central Swansea,lovely hotel but I would say that the beds need a bit of improving.
“Superb”
One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Staff extremely friendly and happy to help with anything. Superb value, although bar drinks a bit overpriced. Beds were comfy but seemed to move easily away from wall if u sat with back against wall watching tv! Really clean rooms and definitely somewhere I would recommend to stay. Breakfast was great value too. Thank u for great stay
“Swansea, April 2011 - Biking Wales”
Will be going back to visit Swansea and the bike park at Afan Valley again later in the year and will be using this hotel as a base. Its close to the city centre, but not directly in it. plenty of bars and cafes and the great Marina very close by. The sports facilities were very good..

“A great overnight stay at a bargain price !!!”
A great overnight stay, good offers on food, selected meals at early door prices which worked out at a 3 course meal for £11.95 a head,good size room, bed was very noisy, every time you moved you could hear the springs, but I wouldn't let that stop me from staying again. Pool was brilliant, just wish we had got up earlier to spend more time in it, ignore other reviews about the lack of choice for Breakfast, it was brilliant, eat as much as you want,plenty of choice included in our overnight stay price. Drinks were a bit on the dear side, but overall a pleasant and relaxing stay.
“Going the extra Mile”
Excellent reception, room spacious ,clean and with a very good ( and large ) bed. Needed an early start in the morning and forgetting it was a Saturday went to have breakfast at 7.15 am ( restaurant opens at 8.am on Saturdays ). Chap laying up breakfast said " How about a continental breakfast?" and proceeded to produce the perfect meal in minutes. Fantastic service and what he didn't know is that I book a number of Roadshows every year requiring a function room and a dozen or so bedrooms. Village Hotels around the country will benefit from his service
“Nice Place to stay overnight”
Very modern and comfortable but we also found it very nosiy and we could not get to sleep till really late because of the noise down below in the hotel. Would have been better to not had a room over the hotel/pub section and on the 2nd floor.
“Comfortable, spacious and close to town”
The Village hotel was a pleasant place to stay at. Staff were friendly and welcoming and although I didn’t use the on-site swimming pool and gym facilities, it is something open to all guests staying at this hotel. The room was surprisingly spacious with modern décor – sizes of hotel rooms tend to be on the small size with many hotels but The Village offer big rooms. Although the hotel is slightly out of the way in what seems like the middle of nowhere, it really is a 5 minute journey from the town centre by road so unless you have access to private transport or don’t mind paying for a cab, it’s not advisable if you’re on foot. If you are after peace and quiet, its location is ideal. The hotel can be quite busy as I discovered during my stay when there was a sporting event happening at the same time. All in all, I would stay here again.

“Nice hotel in up and coming location”
Newly built hotel in renovated dockside location; close to local town. Hotel has good amenities; bar and restaurant on the ground floor; free wireless internet and a Starbucks coffee dock. Staff were friendly and food/service was good. We had breakfast included in our room rate and there was plenty of choices to offer. Restaurant required reservations which seemed odd to us as it wasn't that busy - we ate in the bar one night and it has a similar menu. Rooms were eco friendly, clean and the bed was comfortable; TV offered a range of channels. Overall, would stay again.
