“Celebrity Resorts - Hilltop, Steamboat”
It was great!
“Would stay there again.”
We stayed there during ski season and the view was fantastic. The room was large and clean including a nice kitchenette. The free shuttle service was great. Great bargain for what we got.
“excellent hotel”
this is a great hotel for the price. me, my wife and our 4-month-old son stayed there for 3 nights and were very satisfied. the hotel was super clean and everybody was nice and helpful. we stayed in 1 bedroom 2 bath suite and everything was clean and stocked - both bathrooms fully stocked, fully equipped kitchen - sponges, all kinds of utensils and silverware, toaster, blender and everything you could possibly think of although we didn't actually use it. the indoor pool with 2 hot tubs were also perfectly clean and open till 10:30pm we even had our son swim in the pool for the first time in his 4-month life. I read all the reviews before I went there and was concerned but it is a nice clean and well maintained place and well worth the money. And if you read about the noise from the train - this is nonsense - our room was facing the train but it comes so rarely and is about a quarter mile down the hill - IT DOES NOT INTERFERE WITH YOU IN ANY WAY. Once again - this is a good place - it is old but they are renovating and maintaining it very well!!!
“Best deal in Steamboat”
For the money, I think this is the best deal in Steamboat. Rooms were nice and served our purpose very well. Cooking facilities were very handy especially when you have a family. You can cook in the room and that helps offset the cost of the lodging as feeding 5 people is at least $50.
“Already planning to stay again”
This place was great all around. We make this trip every year, and haven't stayed here before. Now I plan to stay here next year and make sure my friends do too!
“Can't wait to stay there again”
The staff was very friendly and we had a very nice stay
“Can't wait to go back”
It was a joy to stay at the Hill Top. The hotel had an older decor but there were obvious updates. The hotel and rooms were very clean. We had a one room w/ sitting area, kitchen and two full bathrooms. The bedroom itself was very spacious w/ walk in closet. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The shuttle drivers did everything possible to make trips easy and friendly. The shuttle service not only took you to the slopes, they also took you to stores and eating establishments. I don't think they could have been anymore accommodating. We would stay at the Hill Top again.
“Fantastic Experience - Fantastic place to stay!”
Awesome Hotel! We were there for a baseball tournament and needed to check in early for our first game. We called from Denver the day before and were told “no problem – any time after 12:30” they didn’t even ask for our names. When we arrived we were asked if it would be “ok to upgrade us at no charge” uh…YEAH! The room was perfect for us. Upstairs room for us and the pullout bed downstairs for the kids. The kitchen was extremely convenient since we were there for 4 days. Blender, toaster, micro and pots & pans. We stocked the fridge and were good to go. We even used the bbq pits one night – our whole team! The kicker – we wanted to say an extra night but the price had doubled since we booked the room – it was 4th of July weekend. The gal downstairs said they would match our Expedia price – including the upgrade – just like that. Staff was awesome, location was perfect – in the middle of town, and the grounds were perfect for a trip with the kids. 13 families in one hotel and they could not have been more accommodating! Definitely going to stay here next summer!
“Great Stay for a Great Price”
We went to Steamboat for a soccer tournament and this hotel room had all the space our family needed, plus a kitchenette. Everything was very clean in the room and the pool was large. The hotel was on top of a hill in the center of Steamboat, along Hwy 40 and gave us a great view. The only negative, the grounds could use some repair. The tennis courts and small put-put golf course have seen better days.
“Steamboat location”
We arrived to find that the sister location had availability, which worked better for us. It was closer to the bus line and a shopping center. The only drawback was no indoor swimming pool, however, the indoor spa was fine. Also, they upgraded us to a 2 bedroom at no cost. Great place for families or individuals - 100 yds from the bus route to the mountain or town. Super!
