“Good clean place”
St Ignace was convient to mackinaw island and smaller than Mackinaw city Very quaint and the Hotel was good, with all rooms with a water/beach view
“Mackinaw Area Adventure hub of excitement”
Walking the Mackinaw Bridge on Labor Day has been a dream for our family. So we were able to stay at the motel, visit Mackinaw Island, visit Mackinaw City and be refreshed for the walk on Monday morning. Watching sunsets over Lake Huron from our balcony overlooking the lake was awesome. Saturday night fireworks were just down the street. All of the boat ferries were close and convience. Staying in St Ignace gave us all of the excitement but still the small community of the Upper Penninsula feeling and customer service. Michigan Wonderland at its finest.
“Good for kids”
We were assigned a lakeside room (very clean and BIG) with a door onto a small patio with two chairs and a table. There's a huge grassy lawn in the back with wooden swings, a playset and climbing area for the kids and a cement deck with sunning chairs further down the lawn. There is lots of room for kids to run after a busy day or long car ride. Too many geese for swimming in the lake though and watch it in the grass! The only (slight)downside is an older pool with some crumbly deck areas; but nice hot tubs with a separate one for adults.
“We had a great time”
Traveling with my 10-year-old daughter, we picked our hotel by looking at pictures of pools. The pool was great! Perfect temperature and well maintained. In fact, the entire place was very well maintained. The room's shower had great water pressure and adjustable spray. The staff was really nice, especially the woman who runs the breakfast room. Beds a little hard but not too bad. We really enjoyed our stay.
“The best place in St. Ignace”
This hotel right on Lake Michigan was just perfect for our group for 5 nights. We watched awesome sunrises over Mackinaw Island from our windows each morning and a magnificent double rainbow. The rooms are very large with everything you need, walking distance to restaurants and the boat dock and a great breakfast each morning. It's quiet and all the employees we encountered were pleasant and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to return.
“Lovely View!”
Quiet, GREAT view, clean rooms...I would stay again and recommend this to anyone. Very luck to get a room on the Lake.
“Good choice for stays in St. Ignace and Mackinac Island trips”
We visited the hotel in the off-season during the autumn. It fronts directly on Lake Huron and you can look across to Mackinac Island. The room was clean and the staff very responsive to our request for a baby crib.
“Very Nice”
The hotel staff was very helpful in all that our party asked for. The swimming/hot tub/sauna area was great. There is something for everyone. The breakfast bar was very nice as well.
“Best keep secret of the UP”
What a nice hotel for the money! Wonderful staff and very convenient location. Breakfast was OK but a good variety to choose from. Loved the view from my room with the balcony. The pool and hot tub were both clean and well maintained. This hotel is a great value and the staff make the staff even nicer! Thank you!
“Ride around the lake”
Very nice, they even had towels on the motorcycles to dry them off. Very biker friendly
