“An amazing value”
Never having stayed at a La Quinta, I was not expecting much at such a bargain rate. We were very pleasantly surprised! The free continental breakfast was extraordinary ... eggs, sausage, a do-it-yourself waffle machine, juice, coffee, yogurt, pastries ... you name it, they had it! There was also free wireless in every room. And a weight room. And a pool. GREAT!

hotel was clean and quiet on this visit. it had switched locations with a sister hotel and my reservation had been kept at the same physical address rather than the hotel chain that the reservation was made for. but it all worked out to our safisfaction.
“Would stay again”
Room was clean and did not smell. Beds were very comfortable. Air conditioner worked great. Bathroom was very small and could use some improvements. Commode did not flush good but we learned to hold the handle down and it worked. Ice machine did not work so you had to buy cold drinks out of the machines.
“Good place to stay in Texarkana”
We chose this hotel on our way from Texas to Ohio. It was a nice place and while a bit difficult to locate (since there are two La Quinta's on the same road) we were happy once we located the place. The staff were cordial. The room was nice and comfortable. The breakfast was good with freshly made waffles complementing their continental breakfast. Overall a good place to stay.
“Was comfortable even though I was sick”
Unfortuanately I fell ill during my weekend visit to Texarkana, but the hotel room was comfortable and just like being at familys house. I wouldnt say it was like home, but is was as if i had stayed with relatives. The breakfasts was awesome and very impressive. Everyone there was polite and helpful, employees and customers. The whole environment was comfortable and relaxing
“Comfortable place to stay - watch out for non-smoking room spin”
Overall the hotel is a reasonable, comfortable place to stay within easy reach of the freeway and services. However, hotel staff told me my non-smoking room was on a floor with smoking rooms. The room smelled strongly of cleaners when I entered and there was an obvious cigarette burn on the carpet. When I returned to the room that night, I had to walk the length of the fourth floor which had become very smokey since the afternoon though the cleaner smell in the room had disappated by evening. I was in town on family business and spent most of my time away from the hotel but I had paid for my room in advance and had requested a non-smoking room. Hotel staff had told me they were full due to insurance adjusters being in town. If that weren't the case, I would have requested another room on another floor.
“Travel with 2 dogs”
This hotel is a little tired but since we travel with our two minature schnauzers we found it jut fine.
“Spring Break Weekend a Disappointment”
My reservation was for 3 nights and after the first night I checked out. The reason I made the reservations at LaQuinta was for the outdoor pool. No where on the hotel website nor the Expedia website did it mention that the pool was closed and it would open for another 3 weeks. Very disappointed.
“would not go back”
i asked for a non smoking room,the room reaked of cigarett smoke ,asked for another room,was told the best he could do was spray room..i refused and was finally given another room.
