“lovely tropical garden”

This is a nice hotel, reasonably priced. The rooms are good, though a bit like motel rooms, one story, grouped round the pool area. The pool and garden are charming, very tropical and well-maintained and the whole place has a nice ambiance. The restaurant (and adjoining bar) where you can sit outside on a deck in the same garden is very pleasant and the food is good. The only problem is, it's a fair way from Townsville city. There is a complimentary shuttle bus a couple of times a day. Otherwise it's a taxi or a long walk.
