Curtains did not fully cover the window. Light was shining into the room and made sleeping difficult. Restless night. Feels a bit isolated but only here 1 night. Good menu. Good value for Vancouver.

The restaurant was good and had good service. I also appreciated they accommodated my early arrival as soon as they could. However, I asked the lady working the front desk for a 4:00 am airport shuttle (one of the reasons fro choosing the property). She never wrote my request down and shuttle didn't show up until 4:45 am which caused us undo stress. I had to ask the early morning gentleman several times before he sorted it all out.

We arrived around 4 pm and the room wasn't ready. When we finally got a room, a guy was still painting the wall, the phone was removed from the room, there is no cabinet to hang clothes, the heating only blows cold air, nobody was available to help us with luggage and we had to maneuver the trolley up to our room ourselves. Worst hotel experience and most expensive rate I paid in a while. Location is right in the middle of busy intersecting highways, which was not safe to walk out to find a store or restaurant. Restaurant in the hotel has terrible and slow service.

Like that there is a restaurant on site. Freeway nearby was not bothersome. Public transportation right across the street from hotel.

The area is fine. There is a park nearby for kids. Although, the tub had hair in it, the toiletries provided were very small and didnt do what they were supposed to do. You may as well clean yourself with water only. The smell of sewage coming out of the bathroom was quite terrible, we had to keep our bathroom door closed and you can hear the plumbing bubble and gargle in the tub drain every time we flushed the toilet. The bathroom fan didnt work and the water taps even being slightly turned the the left were SCOLDING hot,resulting in my young daughter getting a burn on her hand. We most definitely wont be staying there again.

There was a large black spot on the ceilig that looks like black mold. I reported it to the front desk and they said it would be addressed right away. I reached out to the hotel via the contact us and reported it. They asked for the pics I took then I never heard bak from them. This doesn't look like something that would just appear overnight.

Slightly far away from most popular sights. Requires renting a car or frequent Ubers or bus rides. One restaurant on sight with some decent options. Friendly and helpful staff.

The area where the hotel is located is very noisy, windows are old and single panel, you hear the traffic and noise from outside the hotel all the time.

Staff were not friendly, knowledgeable about the area nor helpful. Room plugs didn’t work, nor did tv. No continental breakfast or understanding why it’s a best western “plus”. There is nothing “plus” about this location.

I thought this property was disgusting. I was considering leaving, except it was so late. My room had an old stuffy smell. The carpet was burned from the iron. Lots of patch jobs on the walls electrical in the bathroom. After further considerations, I started to look up reviews which I wish I had looked up before went to bed worried about rats mice and bugs. Please read all reviews of this hotel wherever you can before considering to stay because I paid over $250 a night.

There were rat traps all around the garage/parking area. I did see a rat run underneath a vehicle. I'm sure it's a problem throughout the city, but the overflowing garbage container outside doesn't help.

The bed in the room did not have clean sheets or pillowcases; soiled linens and someone else’s hair evident! Had to sleep on top of the comforter fully clothed & put a towel over the pillow. The bathroom had clean towels but the floor was filthy.

The beds were so comfortable! And the room was nice and clean. The hotel is right on a busy road so it was loud. Also a bit stressful to walk and get food because the road was busy and the crosswalks were not safe. I was traveling with my 7 year old and it was not safe outside the building. Staff were great- super friendly and helpful.
