“Poor location, but reasonably priced”

Our stay was reasonable, but I wouldn't return. Breakfast area was full of smoke. Neighborhood was run-down and dirty. When we told someone local the area we were staying in, they expressed surprise that there were hotels there.

“Not fancy and very basic, but it worths the price”

If you come to Vienna by bus to Sudbanhof Station, the hotel is walking distance. Near affordable restaurants and shops in Favoriten Strasse. But not fancy, room is just clean and very basic. Hallways and entrance needs a renewal, not AC, but even in summer, you would not need that in Vienna. They offer a good breakfast for EUR 4, that is very convenient for Vienna prices.

“This is a Hostel!”

I would not recommend it... if you are expecting a Hotel as I was!!! This is a hostel and you pay for every bed in the room if you want your own room. For a hostel... it is fine. It is about a 20 minute taxi drive from the city and I had also expected it to be closer.

“Dont do it there ARE better hotels out there and better hostels!!!”

Pratically due to the refurbishment of the sudbanhof this hotel isnt currently next to it and is quite a walk along busy roads and a bleak area including gun and sex shops. hotel stinks of smoke and cats! bed can only be described as a '70s porn' bed. leatherand mirrored with a built in radio! the hotel was quiet at the point of being odd. its of hostel standard but even then it would be a rubbish hostel! there are good transport links to the centre but this is NOT a reason to stay here as other far nicer hotels are in the neighbourhood. room needed a thorough clean however seemed clean enough. v limited amount of hot water and we both suffered from headache and sinus problems due to dust and smell. to sum up a dirty smelly hole!
