“Great Yosemite Lodge”
Fantastic Yosemite lodge! Great facilities including very helpful Concierge service, shop and 4 great restaurants to cater for every occasion. Outdoor pool great for relaxing in the summer heat. We stayed at start of June as part of the Honeymoon and found it a very relaxing and comfortable alternative ti the more basic Lodges inside Yosemite. Travel to get to the Yosemite South entrance just 2 mins by car but we aware that it's a 45min drive from there to get to Glacier Point or the Yosemite Valley floor - but spectacular drives!!!
“nice hotel”
My 7 years old daughter like the ice skating session . Fun hotel to bring kids.
“Love Yosemite National Park”
The hotel stay was awesome and the service was wonderful from the time we checked in. We were on vacation for our 10 year wedding anniversary, and on our arrival the front office manager upgraded our room for us and it was beautiful. We felt like we were staying in a luxury hotel out in the mountains. The grounds were immaculate. The only recommendation would be to get extra help in the restaurants, the food was very good, but the service was slow.
“Fabulous experience”
The lodge, situated right outside of Yosemite, provides a wonderful experience equal to Yosemite itself. The rooms are large and comfortable; the staff and management are extremely nice and very customer-oriented. The spa is delicious. The swimming pool is large, and the sauna and steam bath are super. The facilities are clean and very inviting. The fitness center is sufficient for a few days' stay. Highly recommended!
“Beautiful place to spend Thanksgiving”
This is our third year in a row that we have stayed at the Tenaya Lodge for Thanksgiving. It is a beautiful location and they have fantastic ammenities, food, and things for families to do. Our children particularly like the ice skating rink ,sledding hill, and the indoor swimming pool. Even the gift shop is great! The Thanksgiving buffet is something special for all families and we wouldn't miss it!
“Hidden paradise, 2 miles from Yosemite”
2 miles south of the Southern entrance of Yosemite National Park, Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite is probably the best Q/P bargain for Yosemite Park. A 5 star Resort, minutes from park entrance and 1h00 from the Yosemite Valley.
“Our family loved the Tenaya Lodge!”
After a great day of hiking and sightseeing at Yosemite, it was nice to unwind at the Tenaya Lodge. We stayed in one of the cabins which was just a short walk down a paved path to the main lodge. The cabins are a little more roomy than a hotel room would be, and there was a separate pool/spa nearby. We also had a very nice casual dinner at Jackalope's Bar & Grill. We would definitely stay here again if we get back to Yosemite.
“Luxury & Convenience minutes from Paradise”
Everything you need in a great hotel, plus just minutes from Yosemite National Park.
“Exceeded our expectations”
Situated just outside the south entrance to Yosemite Park, we found this an ideal base. The staff were welcoming and the rooms clean, spacious and comfortable. We swam in the outdoor pool (in late October) and had it to ourselves. In the evenings there is a welcoming fire outside the bar/grill. Highly recommended
“Great hotel - pricey at the weekend.”
Very impressed by this hotel. Although we chose only to stay during the week and booked elsewhere for the weekend as the price gets very high. The room was very good with superb views across the treeline and very comfortable beds. My one gripe was the noise that the fridge in the room made, it was not loud, it was just annoying but then I am not used to having a fridge in the bedroom! The restaurant situation is a bit of a pain as there is not much choice other than to eat at the hotel, unless you want to drive for miles. Luckily the onsite restaurants cover a good range of requirements. The pool, spa and gym facilities are excellent (and very quiet while we were there) the changing rooms were being renovated but that did not seem to create a problem. I would stay there again, but I would have to save up longer to go at the weekend.
