"This hotel is a landmark and was built in 1886. They offer a free tour of the hotel which I would recommend. It's very well maintained while keeping all it's original charm. Downtown location is perfect - we did not need a car to get around the city. Staff well very helpful, courteous and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel!!!"

"First off the hotel staff at the hotel was absolutely amazing. Kylie in the restaurant was so helpful with our dietary needs. It’s a beautiful hotel and well designed. The only thing was the noise. I read so many reviews ahead of time and don’t recall coming across one that spoke about the noise from the pool, Rainy Street and then the overspill when drunken guest return screaming all night. "After reserving a two night stay, waking up after the first night, the house cook/maid informed us “we missed breakfast” and that we were “late for check out”, upon which we said we had booked 2 nights.
