"What a beautiful historical property. It is well-maintained and furnished in an age-appropriate style. The staff were friendly, helpful, and informative; sharing historical information about the home. We had a room up the stately stairs that looked out from tall windows onto the balcony. Our stay was peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was a delight. It is always interesting to insert yourself into the ongoing story of such a place. We hope to go again."

"I booked this place to have somewhere for my husband and I to stay while we came from Houston to visit my son stationed here. It also happened to be our one month wedding anniversary. This quaint couldnt be anymore perfect. They had vendors on site for mothers day weekend adding to the charm. Its like an unexpected resort! But makes you feel like youre at home or a close family members home. They have a fridge with milk (almond too), bottled water, ice cream even!, brekafast options.. all at no...

"Our room was exceptionally clean. Bed was comfortable. We had a porch and it wasn’t clean. The outside can use some overall maintenance, some flowers and general cleaning up. Margaret cooked us breakfast and it was wonderful. She is delightful. Location is great. We are glad we were not in the middle of the Riverwalk. "
