"Fantastic breakfast with lots of different types of yummy pastries. We stayed two nights, went to Yosemite for a night, then returned for another night at Grant Hotel. The staff were happy to hold our luggage for us (chained to a post in the reception area) while we were at Yosemite which was very handy, and it was also just a 5 minute walk to our tour bus departure point. The rooms were lovely and location was good."

"I bought a cheap hotel in SF on the fly, almost abandoned my deposite when I realized where it actually was located and started walking there. If you’re traveling without kids and feel confident in sketchy areas this place is perfect. Room was clean. Man at the front desk was respectful, helpful and very self aware of the neighborhood they’re located in. "The hotel was excellent! Very clean, modern, and had all the amenities required for a comfy stay. The location was very easy to access via public transport from the airport. It’s in the heart of downtown so it’s very easy to walk around to all the attractions that San Fran has to offer. Bonus: it’s right next to the trolley station so you get great access to it. We loved it here! "
