"We stayed for a weekend. It was not perfect, but clean enough. Close to the boardwalk and right on the beach. Has a small older condo feel to it. We didn’t go into the new building that sits between the two older ones. I would return. I like having the kitchenette, separate bedroom, great view of the ocean and steps from the boardwalk."

"This is a new place… in the property where Blackberry Inn was located. It is 2 minutes from town and this location can’t be beat. The grounds are great, and once this place is finished, I would say it would be the best place to stay. We are ‘old’ groupies from the heritage house days, but it has changed and not for the better. Mendo Bungalows will be the ‘ place to be’. "

"My wife and I spent 6 nights here and found the unit very well designed with thoughtful amenities that made us feel right at home. Since these are individual units, none of the noises you’d typically find in many hotels exist, offering a quiet and restful stay. The bed is comfortable and supportive, so no daily backaches like you might find with a soft bed. "Property is older but was clean. Unfortunately hot tub was out of order our entire stay. That is the only complaint!"
