“Perfect :)”
Great location, staff so helpful and kind!! Even booked all our tours for us. Rooms were utterly stunning and really romantic with the wee fire! :) Beautiful views and even a hot tub to relax after days of snowboarding!! :D Had it to ourselves most of the time. Could not fault it in any way and would definitely visit again!!! xxx
“Perfect Weekend Getaway!!!”
Your own remote hideaway on the mountain. Fantastic service, great rooms. Loved having the fire place in-suite. Incredible restaurants, great hot tub. Very clean and well run establishment.
“Wonderful service and food!!”
We had a wonderful stay here. The food is excellent and the staff cannot do enough for their guests. The only drawback is at times we could here the folks staying above us, so you may want to request a top floor room. We also loved the large outdoor hottub.
“Excellent place to stay”
This place is close to the main street (a short hike down or a very short drive), yet far enough for you to feel like you're staying in a national park - away from the crowds. Place was very clean with good quality bathroom & room fixtures, etc. If you're lucky, you can get mountain views right from your room. There's a fireplace in the room, which is always stocked and can be used without issues. We also stayed at a sister property - Emerald Lake Lodge - awesome is understating our stay there - excellent service, although foodis very expensive within the hotel.
“Excellent Spot -- Can't Say Enough Good Things”
My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon here and had a great time. The Buffalo Mountain Lodge was very supportive, and our room was great. We had a nice high ceiling, a sitting area and a fireplace and all the wood we needed plus a very large bathroom. The views from the deck were also nice. (I can highly recommend Banff NP as well, but that is another story). Anyway, the only modest surprise was the lack of A/C in the units, but if we left a window open during the day the room was fine -- that was more a surprise than a disappointment.
“Best Lodge In Banff”
My Husband and I went to the lodge for our 1st Anniversary. Everything was wonderful about it. We loved having breakfast there every morning. The only thing that was not exactly how I imagined it was that it is not secluded. It is out of town, but there are many other places to stay all around. We really enjoyed our stay and will highly recommend it.
“Rustic elegance”
The setting is beautiful, the decor is tastefully rustic, the staff is great and the main dining room had wonderful fare and service. My only complaint is the quality of the bed: hard with inadequate support. Reminded me of hotel beds in Europe.
“We're going back next year”
Everything was great After a day of skiing it was nice to unwind in front of our fireplace with a book and glass of wine. The food at the main restaurant was fabulous!!
“Beautiful mountain lodge”
Our room was very clean and comfortable and the grounds were beautifully maintained. It was quiet and the room was exactly as I expected from the pictures on the expedia site. We had a premier room on the upper floor and it had high ceilings and a nice, stocked fireplace (didn't use it since it was very warm). The large bathroom had beautiful slate floors, a lovely full sized free standing claw foot bathtub and a separate shower. Got a lot of use from the wonderful soaking tub, it was very comfortable. The bedding was very nice and it was a very comfortable bed as well. We also loved the terrace surrounded by the pine trees. We really loved our stay here and were very happy with our choice.
“Great place, Great Deal”
I was in Banff for Canada Day weekend. I was very impressed with the hotel. Had a 450 square foot room, fire place and a huge tv. Girl friend absolutey loved it!!
