“Outstanding Quality & Care by Staff”

The Bangor Hampton Inn is probably the best value motel we have ever stayed at. Beyond expectation quality rooms, personal care, attention to detail by management and staff.

“Good overnight stay”

We had a nice evening and morning in Bangor at the Hampton Inn. When we checked out and were nearly at Bar Harbor, I realized that a necklace was missing. We called and the housekeeper had turned it in so later, as we passed through Bangor on our way north we stopped and retrieved it. The hotel is well kept and well managed.

only minor complaint: WiFi reception was spotty (maybe due to a recent storm?)

“Pretty nice place to spend the night”

The beds were comfortable, the continental breakfast pretty good. Only complaint is hallway noise was quite noticeable. Convenient location and friendly staff.

It was an easy check-in and check out. We were just down the hall from the lobby so it was a little on the noisy side because there were no doors to close off the hallway from the lobby. the free breakfast had quite a few options even healthy ones such as fresh oranges and bananas, even raisin bran and skim milk. If you are picky when it comes to coffee it might not be up to your standards but that is OK there is a Starbucks 300 yards away.

“Pleasant but brief stop!!”

Our stay was brief (arrived around 4 pm & left early am) - enjoyed the breakfast (wide range of choices) but our room was furthest away (Room #103 I think), long walk to lobby, ice machine, vending, etc. Coffee urn in room would have been nice amenity! again, happy with our stop - rate a little steep (I did it with Expedia), but busy weekend in Bangor. We found the b'fast room very crowded & noisy - but "noise" can't be helped. Another time we stayed there, we had to sit in lounge chairs & eat from our laps! We did not take advantage of the evening snack (tomato soup), but nice touch - we chose to go shopping instead! I see it's converting to Comfort Inn - we were just coming from NYC and 4 nights in a Comfort Inn in Manhattan - again, nice comfortable stay close to Times Square.

“Bangor Maine's Hampton Inn.”

Conventiently located near restaurants and shopping malls. Pleasant staff, great breakfast every morning. Was a little less impressed with the rooms compared to other Hampton's I have stayed. But compared to other hotels in the Bangor area, it is one of the better choices available.

“A good hotel”

Good clean hotel with a good breakfast. A little disappointed with only 27 tv channels. The Hampton Inn in Portland had over 50 channels.

“Stay I Bangore Main”

The hotel cleaning staff forgot to clean behind the dressers. There was duet and dirt behind the dresser which you could see. We decided to stay at this hotel because of the Hilton name and of reputation of quality service.
