Good: Staff was professional; Room and bathroom very clean. Easy check-in; good location next to the airport. Some things to know: the walls were not thick so I could hear people's TV in the next room. Breakfast is a grab-and-go bag, not a full breakfast. Overall, it was a good stay.

Great Hotel

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay the night on a road trip up to Acadia so we booked at Howard Johnson. My only complaint was the overpowering smell in the lobby during check-in. However, once we got up to our room that smell was gone. The room was spacious and clean and I absolutely loved the look of the 1970's vibe. The bed was comfortable. Check-in and check-out was great and the staff members were kind and helpful. We did not have breakfast in the morning, so I can't comment on that, but everything else was way above what I had anticipated. I would absolutely stay in this hotel again as well as recommend it.

Room was dirty The head board is white I had to wipe down stains The art work right hand side of the bed had 2 black bugs coming out from it I still have to take a shower but the tub floor has seen better days It just feels dirty to me I still have to sleep here no choice to late at night to move

The room smelled like cedar. It had a foul smell. Definingly out dated and old. The breakfast was a bag breakfast, which I left at 4:30am, it was being served later.

Disappointed that the breakfast was not a continental style breakfast, but the grab and go was more than sufficient and quite good. There were some niggles with the plumbing in the room. Overall it was a convenient, quiet and comfortable stay.

Great value and close to airport. I stayed one night and left my car there for 2 weeks long term parking for $20/week. The lady at the front desk was super friendly. The room was very quiet and clean. Ample amenities. I would stay again.

Although the property is in average condition, it was clean and the rooms are oversized, great if you have small children and need a pack n play set up. The beds were relatively comfortable and again clean. For the cost, I would recommend this location.
