“Great Place to Stay”

You are only a 3 block from the beach/Port Olympica as well as the nearest subway station. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are relatively new, modern and clean.

“Cozy Luxury”

The room was cozy, but not too small for one person. It was well appointed and was impeccably clean. Not all the staff speak English, but if you can work with that, this place is great! Free internet too!

“I would stay again & recommend this hotel to others”

We had a lovley stay in this hotel, the staff were pleasant & helpful, the rooms were very clean & comfortable. The pool is quite small & there aren't many beds around it but it is only a 5-10 minute walk from the beach. The location is good if you don't want to be right in the city centre, it was very quiet, a 20-25 minute walk to La Rambla & a 10 minute cab ride. There are clubs bars & restaurants near the beach only 5-10 minutes from the hotel as well.

“Would return to hotel”

This was a very modern looking hotel throughout lobby and room. Friendly staff. It is located in a quite area not very touristic, as far as restaurants, clubs, and bars, but a cheap 5 min bus ride to Las Ramblas. Would definetly stay here again. Seems like a good bargain for the price. Also free internet access via lobby PC's.

“Hotel Icaria Barcelona”

We spent a very enjoyable week in July at the Hotel Icaria. The main reason I chose this hotel was because of the outdoor swimming pool and sun lounge. It was great to be able to relax by the pool after a days sightseeing. The location was perfect as it was 5 minutes walk to the beach and as there is a bus stop just outside the hotel, transport to many of Barcelona's attractions was really easy. It is also only a few minutes walk to the open top tourist bus stop. Service in the hotel was excellent and the staff were very helpful especially when giving directions and useful information. We only ate in the restaurant once when we had breakfast. The food was ok but would be a bit expensive for a family of 4 for a week. I would definately go back.

“perfect!!”

I stayed here with my 9 year old daughter and couldn't have picked a better hotel. the staff were very friendly and helpful and all spoke english, they were happy to advice on the best way to get around / places to eat etc. the pool was a great bonus. it was very safe. the beach was only a 5 min walk away so great location, although about a half hour walk to the ramblas. would definately recommend it to families
