Good budget hotel for a short breakPosted May 14, 2013
Pros: Reasonably priced and clean
Cons: Air con in the room was not very effective
Location: Short walk from Barcelona's main train station. Nice area.
Budget hotel but clean and perfectly adequate for a short break. The staff were friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was nice. The hotel was in a nice location, plenty of shops and places to eat nearby and just a short walk to the metro and overground train stations.

Our recent stayPosted May 9, 2013
Pros: the sliding front door
Cons: the lack of organisation, room quality and price
Location: the location wasnt too bad
Hello I recently stayed at hotel prisma and was very disappointed with it. I booked 2 rooms, 1 for me and my brother and 1 for my father. Instead of placing our rooms together they put my father on floor 1 and us on floor 3! Our room was quite good but the room my father was given was attrocious. The door didnt even open fully wide and the size of the room would of been ok for maybe a child. There was no light in the room and it was too hot nowhere near good enough for the price of it. If that wasnt bad enough after the first night my brother and I were told our room was reserved for other people? Even though i had booked it in advance, just very unprofessional in general.

A Great Little Budget Hotel.Posted May 7, 2013
Pros: It's in a very pleasant-going area away from the crowds.
Cons: Neighbour's shower noise.
Location: It's location was perfect for our trip; 3 stops from the airport, able to walk to the football stadium, able to get to any place of interest easily.
A great little hotel situated a nice distance away from the crowded Las Ramblas district. It's not lavish but a perfectly good 2 star. We were in Barcelona for a weekend trip based around watching a match at The New Camp and the hotel is a pleasant 40 minute walk away, along mainly one road, from the stadium. The Sants-Estacio train station is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel and is served by two metro lines which makes exploring the city and its sights straightforward. Handily, the Renfe, which connects to the airport, also goes to station. The staff were helpful, lending us a plug adaptor for a couple of days [which was a godsend] and pointing us towards the nearby Ubeda bar and a couple of restaurants when we'd just arrived. The room and the public spaces were always kept clean and tidy and there was a computer available in the foyer area which, although we didn't use, could be really useful. Our one criticism was that anyone showering in the adjoining room was puzzlingly almost as audible as our own shower. Luckily, our neighbouring guests got up at a reasonable hour so we simply used them as our alarm call, but it could have been a major problem. Overall though, we felt that we'd found a belter of a hotel for our money and it made our stay in the city all the better.

Football trip to see BarcelonaPosted Apr 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is in walking distance of the Camp Nou and only 5€ in a taxi. It was clean and the staff were polite and friendly. The breakfast was £6 a head and there was cereal toast coffee tea fruit juice available so reasonably priced. The aircon didnt work and the major downfall to this hotel is the beds. They are the most uncomfortable things I've ever slept on and I feel if they invested in decent beds I would be rating this far better.

Okay but not the bestPosted Feb 16, 2013
Pros: Modern, comfy, safe.
Cons: Noisy, limited breakfast.
Location: Nice area, good places to walk.
Ok hotel, 15 mins walk from metro station. Not a problem but needs to be mentioned. Very noisy hotel: esp cleaning staff in the morning. Could hear other guests in their showers. Breakfast a bit limited and pricey at 6 euros. Clean room tho and comfy, except for European tradition of having two single beds pushed together and calling it a double. Really irritating.

Pleasing experiencePosted Jan 12, 2013
The desk clerk was welcoming, informative and helpful. Everything is clean and works. Breakfast is 6 euros. The location is very handy to Barcelo Sants train station for catching the AVE fast train. A bus goes past the hotel to Plaza Espanya, from where you catch the Aeroport Bus. You can walk into central Barcelona if you like legging it, otherwise it is two bus rides, starting from outside the hotel.
