“Very inexpensive, pleasant, no maid service”
This is a "self service" hotel: there is no maid service, no change of towels or sheets in stays under a week -- but the room was clean, spacious and pleasant, and very inexpensive -- and it included a very nice buffet breakfast. Also, the hotel is close to a stop of Stockholm's superb transit system. It worked out very well for my wife and me.
“Very impressed”
We stayed at this hotel and it was really nice. Very close to Alvik train station, which was great as it took about 15/20 minutes to Central Station. The breakfast included had a great selection, and was very nice. It even has a sauna and a tub bath type jacuzzi. Would definately recommend this place to anyone.
“Best decision I ever made”
I checked into a famous hostel in Stockholm and was surprised how bad it was. Hotels in Stockholm were fully booked but StayAt Bromma had one room. My only concern was that it was not in the city center. It was actually good that the hotel was located in a suburb since the hotel was mixed in a residential area. I quickly reserved it for three nights and it was great. The main advantage was how close it was to the train station at Alvik. It is a 3 to 5 minute walk from the hotel lobby to the train platform and 20 minutes to T Centralen. The hotel room was actually a small apartment with kitchenette, small fridge, TV, full desk, and a full closet. Coffee maker and iron board with iron were also included. The decor was new and modern. These amenities saved me a lot of money since I could cook instead of eating out and I washed my clothes there. There are two lifts since the hotel is over 10 stories high, breakfast is available, washing and laundry machines, and Internet access (you need your own network cable). The surrounding neighborhood is great because it has markets, restaurants, and services that are not visible in a big city like Stockholm. I honestly do not see any reason why I would stay in a Stockholm city hotel in the future.
“Super Clean and nice staff!”
Nice and clean about 10 min train ride to central Stockholm walking distance to lockal shoops. It was awesome.
“Great Place in Stockholm”
Spent 3 days at the Bromma. Great location, only a block from the Alvik Tbana (subway) station. Trains every 10 or 15 minutes into town. Got the 3 day pass for 120 SEK. Stayed on the 13th floor with a beautiful view. Worried about train noise but it was no problem, even with windows open. Lovely, sparkling clean apartment, (bedroom, living room and bath with instant hot water) Nice mini kitchen with stove, frig, microwave and dishes and utensils for four. Staff: Very helpful, knowledgeable young ladies with perfect English. Breakfast: On site restaurant with amazing selection of hot and cold foods. Seemed happy to have us make sandwiches for lunches on the road. All in all, a great place. Highly recommended.
“Very pretty, small, inexpensive room”
The Accome towers above everything around it, but is not especially beautiful on the exterior. I was initially annoyed that the subway stop was 500 m from the hotel, not 50 as advertised (I had some very heavy luggage), but later found out I went out the wrong door - the station has two entrances. Not luxurious in the lobby either, but I was impressed with the nicely finished wood furnishings in the small room apartment. It also came with a refrigerator, stove, coffe pot, silverware, cups, plates, knives, etc. Important note if you are trying to save money by staying here, as I was: A one-way subway fare to the central station in Stockholm is 40 kronor, or about $6, so look for deals on passes, etc.
“Our expereince”
We found this to be a fantastic option - a very functional and well equipped apartment which provided a very comfortable final week to our visit to Scandinavia. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was provided free in the downstairs resaurant. The room was a little noisy from being so close to the railway and main road, however this didn't really pose any great discomfort to us and if you chose to shut the windows, it was quite sound proof. Very relaxing and really good location and easy access to the city. We would certainly stay there again if we travel back to Sweden.
“A real bargain for the money worth the subway ride”
The hotel is a modern building 50 meters from the Alvik train station a 10 minute ride from the central station. It was nice to have breakfast available, not great but a good cup of coffee, juice and basic set up. The staff was friendly and helpfull in any request made. The expedia price for this hotel was excellent. Would recommend this hotel and stay again.
“convenient and closer to city centre than you might think”
Convenient and good budget option. Subway next door and therefore closer to city centre than a lot of more expensive hotels that claim to be near the city centre.
“Quite Well”
The room was very spacious and clean, which is important to me. Bathroom and kitchenette were well maintained, and again, very clean. The elevators were a bit small, and there was no air-conditioning so the higher floors were very warm.
