“GREAT HOTEL”
The ONLY minus has been the bed cover, but this is since we are used to European style. Location is excellent and makes each shopping trip successful.
“Wonderful Stay!”
Very helpful staff, awesome location. There are lots of food and bars around. I would definitely recommend for business or couples!
“Excellent”
All staff members were friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make my stay very enjoyable.
“january 2012”
There is no fan in the bathroom. That's a bit inconvenient.
“Hilton Garden Inn: absolute recommendation”
I'm a picky Dutch and I did not find anything to complain about ;-) I chose this hotel with a city map of Chicago on my screen. The location was for me a priority. The Hilton Garden Inn did a wonderful job: the entrance is right in front of the exit of the metro (red line, Grand station) and if you're not too lazy you can easily walk to the "Loop". Duing next visit to Chicago (there for sure will be one) I won't hesitate to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn again. Oh, and the breakfast is absolutely fabulous!! With $15 plus sales tax maybe not the cheapest (I'm not only a picky Dutch but sometimes also a greedy Dutch) but worth the money. Don't forget to try the eggs benedict with bourbon smoked ham or sth like that. Yummy!! Ah, and for the ones who walk from the Hilton Garden Inn to the "Magnificent Mile": walk 1 block east along Grand, continue ahead into the tunnel and take the stairs up left - a bit tricky, in the beginning I was searching a bit ;-)
“Location, Location, Location!”
This hotel is in the perfect location, literally less than 20 steps to the Red Line and busses going any direction you wish to go. I have stayed at a lot of hotels in the River North area and The Hilton Garden is by far the best in all aspects. The staff engage in conversation with you and remember you when you come and go. I will never stay at any other hotel downtown.
“Great Stay in Chicago!!”
The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The location was great! A short walk to Michigan Avenue and State street shopping! The pool and hot tub was wonderful after a long day of shopping!!! We had a great stay and will be sure to stay there again on our next trip to Chicago!
“Great value!!”
The hotel offered great value for the dollar. Very, very pleasant staff!
“3-15-12”
Staff was great & very helpful & attentive. - Location was perfect - would definitely go back & stay there - the only draw back is the high cost of parking which seems to be the case all over Chicago.
“Great place, Great Price!”
Very friendly staff, comfortable queen size beds, nice shower, delicious cookies. Location and Free Internet put it over the top for us!
