"It was a nice stay, all the staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the swimming pool and I think it was amusing that they’d make you wear a swim cap even if you’re bald. The Ming Court restaurant was fantastic. The lobby smelled nice. Lots of food delivery options nearby. It’s not too far from the subway. Downside: if you speak 0 Chinese and need help (like asking for a new crib sheet because your little one had an accident), you may have some trouble if you call the concierge on the phone. I specifically booked this place because English communication was not supposed to be an issue here, but at times it was, and I had to act as the interpreter for other people in my group."

"This hotel was a high quality hotel, with good sized well decorated rooms, which are now 'old style'. The two pools are impressive, as was the buffet on the 40th floor. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to Guangzhou East station (much smaller than the south). The taxi to the the fair was just 50rmb and took 10 minutes. For the money i paid it was a bargain "
