“Great family experience on the beach”

Located right next to the only beach in Key West, this is the place to stay for families more interested in the water than the Duval nightlife. We had a fourth floor condo with a great ocean view, worth the extra price. Very quiet, great pool with cool water in July, outdoor grills available and clean comfortable condo. Kitchen was well stocked and saved alot of money rather than eating out every day.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

After looking at all the reviews I was a little nervous about going to 1800. My family and I loved it there! All the comforts of home, and very clean. Had a great balcony that we used everyday. Loved the pool, it was olympic size and we used it that every day also. We felt very safe since you need a key to get in every part of the condo. The only draw back was it is advertised that the condo is on the beach, but its mostly rocks. But if you go about 100 yards to the left of the condo there is a beach that is nice and you can rent watersports. Great vacation!! Would highly recommend this condo.

“Loved it!”

The two bedroom condo had two separate bathrooms and a very large living/dining room areas. The kitchen had just about everything we needed. The full-size washer and dryers were an unexpected bonus. The wrap-around balcony was perfect. The master bathroom had two sinks and a shower stall and a jacuzzi tub. The master bedroom had two closets. We did have problems with check-in after hours, but eventually figured out where to go. The security guard on the property was especially helpful. Our parking was in a card-key controlled area under the property, which was an added bonus. We loved it there, and would definitely stay again!

“Can't wait to go back”

Excellent place to stay. Room has every amenity you will need (silverware, towels, TV, etc). Our room even had fishing poles! The grounds are beautifully landscaped. Just remember, this is a condo, not a hotel, and your expectations will change. No housekeeping. Very nice pool and hot tub. Can't wait to go back.

“Had a great time!”

The condo room was really nice on the inside. Perfect for when you need 2 bedrooms - sleeps up to 6 with fold out couch. Good location. Pool and hot tub were huge and had nice view of the ocean. Glad we stayed here and can't wait to go back! Remember to bring shampoo,hair dryer, etc.. as those are not provided.

“What a nice place to stay!!”

My husband is very picky, not only did he love this place but he said he would go back! The size of the condo was perfect, everyone had their own space, and with 2 teen girls thats saying alot.

“Great place!”

Unit 417 is BIG, with a lengthy deck and comfy deck chairs & tables, facing the water --- superb view! Great place for morning Bloody Mary's! Couches in the living room were comfortable, and the TV was fine for checking the morning weather. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the master bedroom has a shower/tub/Jacuzzi that is as big as a Mack truck --- wow! Actually, we spent most of our time relaxing at the pool all day, and then bar hopping Duval Street all evening. This was our 6th "Stress Management Seminar" in Key West, and we found the condo unit was much better than staying in a hotel room; we enjoyed the space, and one night, we even grilled out fish that we'd caught... if you want to spread out, have room to enjoy yourselves, fix your own breakfasts/lunches, lounge at the pool while gazing at the ocean... we'd definitely recommend 1800 Atlantic!

“Great Place to stay!!”

This place was better than I could have hoped for. We had friends coming in and out throughout the whole weekend. This place had more than enough room to accomodate us all. It was spacious, very clean, and a beautiful view of the ocean. The pool and beach area were great, you can grill down there. It was perfect for a long weekend with friends or family. We made use of the kitchen which had all the cooking supplies. Its not close enough to walk to duval st but we taxied each night out there for like $5 per person. All in all it was a great stay.

“Key West at its best!”

The view from the patio was like a post card. I don't think the pictures i saw do the hotel justice. Great pool, hot tub, and sauna rooms. There was also a giant spa tub in the master bath that was a complete surprise. The biggest beach in Key West is just a 100 yard walk away.

“Would love to own a condo in this complex”

Had a great time. Weather was good but cool for November. Flew directly in to Key West. Smathers Beach was well maintained and cleaned every day. Wish this complex would try to work on a little better beach area of their own.
