"This was a secure ryokan with only 3 rooms on the top floor. We could store our luggage there before our check in and for a few hours after checkout, which was really helpful. "Fantastic stay, highly recommend. Area around property is very quiet, with at minimum a 10-15 minute walk to restaurants or convenience stores. Great views of Mount Fuji can be seen from the property, or anywhere in Fujiyoshida for that matter. Host doesn't speak English, but is fluent in Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, and Korean amongst other languages. She's super helpful and accommodating."

"Its a very quiet, beautiful spot close to stations to travel to hakone and the baths were lovely! Its nice to walk around the area. The man running the hotel spoke english pretty well, my non japanese speaking friend had no issues at all. The bedding is futons and it was more comfortable then the hotel we previously stayed at and was perfect for our single night stay"

"This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well. I would recommend spring or summer stays, as the traditional construction means it will be quite cold in the winter, but it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji."

"The ryokan at entrance was beautiful. The lobby and the whole lower floor was spectacular. Loved how walking inside your completely transported to a Japanese experience with bridged walkways shaped of arcs and where there was ponds underneath lthose bridges.
