"The hotel was situated in a secluded area, separated from the rest of the town. The staff members were exceptional - they treated me like family. Every single person, from the employees on the 17th-floor bar to those at the front desk, was incredibly sweet, well-mannered, polite, and helpful. I had such a great experience that I can't wait to go back, and next time, I plan to bring along even more friends."

"This is a beautiful beachfront resort. The view is amazing! If the ocean is rough or not your thing, the pool is also wonderful. It is a very busy place and we found the noise to be a bit much so be prepared for this. We had the buffet breakfast included in our package and the food was good with a nice selection however they tended to run out of items after 8:30 or so. The beds were very comfy and the staff were extremely accommodating. Rachel at the front desk provided excellent customer service. The spa is very busy and we didn't get our complimentary steam/sauna as promised but this was a minor detail. There is a free electric taxi that goes in to and back from town centre every 2 hours which is a nice option to have. Overall we really enjoyed treating ourselves to this resort and would recommend it! "

"We were a little apprehensive about booking our bucket list Ha Long Bay cruise with Scarlet Pearl after reading mixed reviews in various platforms but we went ahead with it and went with no expectations. We were very pleasantly surprised. The pick from our hotel in Hanoi was on time and in a luxury van which was very comfortable. We did stop at a pearl store on the way but there was zero pressure to buy anything. Check in was smooth and so was the transportation to the boat itself. Upon arrival we received a very warm welcome. The boat looked very classy and the staff very friendly. We were celebrating our wedding announcement and they went out of the way to make us feel special. Wendy is an excellent cruise manager. Her entire crew is super friendly and helpful. Very attentive to the passengers’ needs at all times. Food on the cruise is excellent and so are the drinks. They are very reasonably priced considering this is a cruise ship. Excursions are all well planned and excellent. Chris, the assistant manager is very knowledgeable and is very involved. We also took a private sunset cruise with another couple and that is just fantastic. Tony accompanied us on this cruise and showed off his smart phone camera skills by taking amazing photos. I can go on and on but this should give you an idea. I don’t understand the negative reviews. There is nothing negative about this cruise. All positive. Special shout out to Wendy, Chris, Jessica, James and Tony. Amazing people."

"This is an amazing property!! Top notch service, hospitality. The grounds are beautiful. Quiet and peaceful. The breakfast buffet was and room service food was excellent. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!"

"Fabulous staff, wonderful trip. Tat was a great host, very sweet. Our butler Annie was lovely. The room was tired and really need updating however the private balcony was great! The most disappointing thing was the spa. It wasn’t accessible via the top deck bar area and you can’t see anything when sitting in the spa. Also on day 2 it was green!! Awful, we didn’t go in on day 2. Good on the buffet each meal was really good. The day trip to the village was great! "
