"My wife and I loved our time at this property. It has a very cute garden where we would sit and have tea. We also enjoyed the art display in the living room, which was all made by the host’s mother. "We really enjoyed staying in a real house in a real neighborhood for our trip to Kyoto. There was plenty of room for our small family, and we felt we had a more authentic visit to this beautiful city. A couple things to note for those who read reviews is that the stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and narrow, and I worried for my husband navigating them in the dark at night.
