“far from the city centre, magnificent views”

The location has magnificent views of Mt Sakurajima, but is quite far from the city centre, the ferry ports and the restaurants. The room was large by Japanese standards, the bedding very comfortable, and the staff very friendly and helpful

“Couple traveling with baby”

The view at the hotel is stunning, majority of the rooms face the sea and you get a clear view of the volcanoes. The room the is quite large and you get a balcony that is also accessible. If you are driving, the hotel offers cheap parking with unlimited access per day, the only inconvenience is there's 3 locations for parking so depending on availability, you may need to park in a different location each time you enter and exit (all car parks is within a 1-2 minute walk to the hotel). Hotel is also right next to the ferry's that will take you and your car to the islands nearby. Definitely will stay at this hotel if we visit Kagoshima again.

“Nice hotel but a long way out of centre”

Can't really fault the hotel other than the fact whenever we opened the balcony door a strange sound came out of the air conditioning. However we were only there overnight and left early. It did seem to us that it was a long way out of the centre albeit with a fabulous view of the gently smoking Sakurajima volcano.
