"Great place for families visiting Shimoda and Izu Peninsula. Definitely a hotel catering to Japanese tourists, but with a little Japanese and respect the staff is very friendly and works with you. Some of the staff spoke some English. Bathhouse, arcade, and hotel amenities were great. Walking distance to everything downtown and easy spot to drive to other locations. Would definitely stay here again with family on vacation. "

"This hotel is located right on the water and we loved the ocean views, and (when we opened the window) the sound of the waves breaking. Very peaceful and beautiful. The onsen baths were large and pleasantly hot, with water that was clear and gave a nice feeling. "

"The hosts were amazing. Totally went above and beyond! I was offered to be driven to Omurayama. They also offered to drive me back but I opted for the bus (for the experience!) Also, I was super impressed by one of the female workers speaking so many languages! I'm also a super picky eater but the traditional breakfast was amazing. Last but not least, when I checked out I was given the offer to drive me to the station. They're just such lovely and kind people!"

"I like place.it is convient,7/11 and drug store is near.you walk along beach.the air is fresh.the staff is very friendly.the room is clean texcept bathroom,it is clean but they have to clean the molds in the bathroom and there are no slipper in the roon.But the place is very good i will return and recommend to my friends"

"It's a resort ryokan hotel with excellent view of the ocean. The "half-board" breakfasts and dinners were delicious and plentiful. The town of Atami is very hilly with very very steep roads that are not very walkable (and could be dangerous when wet), so be prepared to use a taxi or a rental car to go practically anywhere."

"Service staff was very helpful in helping to converse with rental car company. Great view of the sea from room. Breakfast was very good and there was a bar with free drinks (alcohol included) for hotel guest to bring back to their room. "

"I did not have high expectations but this was worse than I thought it would be. There was a lot of food but it was not very good, both dinner and breakfast. Onsen was nice but not as clean as I would have liked. Different brands of soap, shampoo and conditioner but no face wash, no hair brush or other small amenities. "

"The property was very clean and spacious. The hosts instructions were very clear with lots of information about nearby shopping, restaurants and hot springs. The car park was very close to the property as well as the station being one minute away. The beach is also a one minute walk. I highly recommend this property for both small and large groups. "
