"We spent 5 wonderful days in this resort! The reviews we read didn’t lie, it is a family/kid-friendly resort. We had a villa swim-out (with our own private pool off our private villa) and it was very relaxing. It didn’t prevent our daughter to enjoy the perks of the “public” kids pool with the slides etc… The rooms can get a slight upgrade as said but it’s perfectly fine for a short stay like we did. The hotel is excellently located roughly 20mns away from everything : downtown city, airport, port activities (for catamarans to Isla Mujeres etc) The staff is truly caring, top notch. And the food… a lot of reviews said that the Japanese restaurant (where you have to book) is the best, that’s what we fancied the less. It’s okay if you’ve never been to a Japanese restaurant where they cook in front of you, for the experience but it’s not wow. The Buffet however is top quality, especially for an all-inclusive resort, I was very pleasantly surprised (and I am a French foodie), the quality of products, the level of execution of the dishes, the variety and very practical for kids food as well, enough variety for them to pick from. We did try the steakhouse as well and it was delicious too. I’d suggest to really stick with the buffet if you’re coming with your family, it’s so many great options. We enjoyed various on site activities : concerts at nights, spectacles for kids etc.. but it was so practical to book our outside of resort activities as well as since the location is conveni"

"Very good hotel. Rooms are clean , modern with ocean front view. In terms of facilities is great. Quality of food was amazing. The only suggestion I have is they need to work on their entertaining actives more. They have some but it is not well organized or entertaining that much."
