“Wonderful Lake Lucerne Hotel”
This hotel exceeded all of our expections. Location, view, service - all added to the luxury that was offered. In addition the staff promptly assisted us in straightening out a reservation error that was completely our fault. Would recommend this hotel to any traveler wanting the perfect place for their stay!

We couldn't have been more pleased. The location was the best in Lucerne. We especially enjoyed the large size of the room and the ability to sit on our balcony and enjoy the ambiance of the lake and the city....expensive but not over priced compared to everything else in Europe.

This is a gorgeous hotel. The staff was very helpful. The room was nice and has a great view of the lake and the city. The location is within close proximity to all major attractions.
“Convenient and comfortable, wonderful views of lake and mountains”
The Schweitzerhof is a five star property within easy walking distance of virtually everywhere in Lucerne. We walked from the station (10mins) and received a warm welcome and personally taken to our room by the friendly check-in staff member. Room was large clean and comfortable, well appointed & with outstanding views of the lake and mountains beyond. Internet access. Had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and both were excellent if a little expensive. The situation of the Schweitzerhof could not be more convenient for the tourist or business person, right in the centre of the old town beside the lake and only a 10 minute walk from the railway station. A bus stop is 100m away for the one minute ride to the station or a few stops to the transport museum which should not be missed. All other sights, famous Capel Bridge & numerous cafes, shops and restaurants are within an easy walk. We could not fault the Schweitzerhof .Highly recommended.

i was visiting switzerland with a few friends and got to see several different hotels. This hotel was by far the best in lucerne. the staff were incredibly nice and accomodating. the room was a decent size room and my stay was very comfortable. if the breakfast is not included in your package, then you'll pay 35 francs per person to have breakfast. the hotel is very close (walking distance) to everything and the bar was one of the best in the area. you'll love staying in this hotel. guaranteed.
“Great classic Hotel in the best location”
Nice large rooms and very good location next to centre of Lucerne but easy to access by car. Hotel staff very friendly, helpful and have great knowledge about the area.
“Great hotel at a great location”
Interior of the rooms is somewhat old fashioned but this is too be expected of a traditional top-line 5 star hotel. Staff is great and super friendly. Room service menu is somewhat limited. Location is absolute top in the middle of Lucern overlooking the lake!!
