I must say reading some reviews I was apprehensive about this hotel however all that went away the minute we stepped in. FYI they charge 100 CHF a day deposit which you get back end of your stay and they take this immediately at check in. You also get charged city tax around 25CHF at the end of your trip. The hotel staff and location are amazing. The staff are so good they helped me out with everything I asked and our room was spotless. The location is fantastic just mins away from the station and central to restaurants and shopping centres. Yes there is noise at night from people partying but theres a rooftop bar above you and bars outside too so why are people surprised by this lol. We had that one night until 1am but it was expected and that's fine. Overall great hotel lovely staff fantastic location and I can definitely say I will 100% return to this hotel again. Thank you Hotel Astoria!!❤️

Enjoyed our stay here! Great location, easy walk to train station and old town, lake Lucerne as well. Quiet room, comfy bed. Breakfast was good, although it seemed to end a but earlier than stated, so don't wait till last minute!

The room was spacious and comfortable, but there was a lot of noise coming from outside the room in the evening. Seemed to be infrastructure noise - pipes, doors, squeaks, etc. Fortunately it quieted down at bedtime. The breakfast was great.

Really lovely hotel in a great location. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Good facilities across the sites. Only two small negatives, no fridge in the room and the signage, particularly on where restaurants were/how to access them was confusing.

Clean, cosy rooms with all amenities. Location is great, all attractions of Lucerne are within walking distance. Great connectivity to station and bus stop, mostly walkable. Local bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Polite and helpful hotel staff. Breakfast spread is also good.

The hotel was outstanding with incredible ambiance; the welcoming staff was professional and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room was impeccably clean and spacious while the restaurants and breakfasts were five stars. We strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We had a fantastic experience with luxurious amenities and impeccable services. Everything was either walk-able or expressible by bus throughout the city. The hotel is well-maintained and provided a safe and secure environment.
